Notes
Let me add notes to profiles without people being in my favorites. It's hard to keep track of faceless profiles and I don't want to add each one to my favorites list. Being able to keep a quick note with a name or general impression would be nice for people with short term memory issues

Background and Chat color
Ability to change chat bubble color and back ground color for users that pay for Xtra.
Sometimes the simplest things add to more of the experience for discretion. Everyone knows yellow chat bubbles is grindr in public.

Need to block screenshots on Video Calls
Screenshots are only blocked on Albums it needs to be blocked even on Video calls.

Fix profiles
It would be nice to see more than a black screen with only the words "My Top Songs" showing. The app is really flaky atm. Android, S22+, latest versions as of yesterday. Are your API endpoints overwhelmed or suffering massive latency? Please fix it.

More writing space on profiles!
Need more room to write on display names and about me can barely fit anything in them and the price you charge for unlimited you’d think this wouldn’t be another one of the main issues!

Stricter verification
I would like for Grindr to implement stricter verification for new and existing users in an effort to combat underage individuals posing as adults, bots, etc. I've heard a number of stories of men who have chatted with individuals who they thought were of legal age, only to find out upon meeting them that they're some horny teen. Test your updates before you implement
I don’t know what you wizards were trying to do, but your last update really jacked up everything! Nothing works as it did before, every time I touch something and go back the screen scrolls a mile so I don’t know where it was, and people show the green online button on one screen, but read offline on the next. Might try implementing some tech testing and best practices before you “improve” the app next time.

Verified users should be marked and there should be a filter.
Start verifying users who put up their face pics. There’s too many fake profiles and users scamming people. Grindr needs to actively participate in the safety of the queer community. We are a minority and we do not have the same opportunities to meet people like the heteronormative social space. Verified users should be able to search other verified users.

Specific Gender/ sexuality Personalization filters
As a gay app primarily for gay men there needs to be an option to allow users to filter or hide trans men/ trans women profiles and also a filter for trans women or men to filter gay users. Just the same or see only trans interested specific users of based off their personal interests. These tiles are considered valuable Realestate to those of us who are paying 40$/month. Un función que permita cambiar el color de la conversación, algunas personas son discretas y no pueden usar la app porque es fácilmente reconocible. También debería incluir un modo oculto o blur en las fotos recibidas para que solo al tocarla aparezca. Fuckin Christ. Can't fuckin login into this goddamn forsaken dogshit app. Every fucking method to login doesn't fucking work. Signing up doesn't fucking work. Two step authentication doesn't fucking work. Fix the app. For fuck sake. It makes me wanna punch my fucking phone.

Create African as an Ethnicity.
In the option for Ethnicity, you should create an option for "Africa." Forcing Africans to identify as Blacks is nonsensical. Why do we have only Europeans and Africans and people of their descent identify by colour while others identity by their geographical location (example Asians) and by other means (examples Latino)?
I am an African and refused to be categorised as Black. Nobody is White either.

Block viewed me
Grindr needs to restore the block button on the "viewed me" page. This is a safety issue. There are people/profiles who can/will constantly look at your profile without ever making contact. Without the block button, we will have to go looking for them and if they have no info on their profile how are we supposed to find them? Yes it can be an inconvenience, and yes some might prefer it isn't there, but this will become a serious nuisance.
