Remove the advertisement

Filter chats by sent or received
Toggle on/off a chats filter to display only chats where the most recent message was sent, or where the most recent message was received. This way people can find chats where it is their turn to reply (even when not unread) or by opening messages that never got a response so they can be deleted.

Trans people
There should be a way of filtering out trans-people. In the field to section a simple man, trans-woman, trans-man, with the option to filter them out, I spend half of my time deleting trans-women profiles because I’m not interested and men who are only interested in trans-women who are not interested in Gays. Also trans. Women seem to predominantly be prostitutes and so keep recreating. Their profiles, meaning I am deleting the same prostitutes several times a day.

Profile verification needed
There are way too many fake profiles on grindr, such that there is no way of knowing which one is a genuine profile. Like Tinder, you should have a face verification mechanism and a verified marker to at least allow the general users to distinguish between the unverified users and the verified ones. Highly necessary especially in places like India where I'm constantly struggling with catfishers and identity thieves. Please introduce this feature asap. Requesting as your paid subscriber.

Show a disclaimer when chats are previously deleted
It would be nice to have a small disclaimer when I message someone that has deleted previous chats or I’ve deleted previous chats. Would like to clean up my inbox, but don’t want to messages people I’ve messaged in the past with no response back.
