Block the use of the same profile picture unless verified
In order to prevent fake profiles, Grindr should have a way to prevent the upload of main profiles already in use by someone else. If the picture is used, there should be some kind of verification system to determine that person is who they say they are. This should avoid spam on Grindr

90 day inactivity auto delete account
90-180 days for std testing,90 days for probationary period at work,90 days for thc screening in hair for jobs operating heavy machinery, 50 first dates etc. If I don't logg on I would like brightened notification that I have not been on, while at work, while at home,while in jail, so i could feel rewarded about the length in time that I haven't sought out to lazily press a button to be who I can be off the app

Tap attention seekers
I thought taps were a ridiculous idea from the very begining-and told Grindr when asked before its launch. Not only people use it giving it a myriad different meanings, even within the same country, now people use it to lure you to an attractive profile, with an Instagram link and when you go there, there's nothing but exciting photos and a link shouting at you "Wow, check me out". And of course they never, ever respond to messages. Which is now a daily thing. Grindr, I beg you, either scrap the awful, appalling tap, or scrap the links to other…

A filter based on location
I like to know how near/far away others are. If there's a way to display the locations (general miles, not location necessarily) it would improve experience

Cant see users after unblock
Last week, I was clearing my visitors list and accidentally blocked a guy I was going to be meeting. In the past, when I have unblocked people, they have reappeared on my visitors list. This is no longer the case.

No pop ups on Unlimited
I already way overpay for Grindr unlimited. Do I really need the constant “boost” pop ups or the “viewed me” pop ups? Leave me alone, lol.

Remove similar tags
Gamer/gaming, pupplay/pup. There is no need to have two of the same tags. This also applies to future tags like ABDL/diaper. Keep it simple.

When you click the search button at the bottom left, photos of current people will appear in a checkerboard shape.
Between the search button and the message button at the bottom
Please create a button called Now.I think it really shows the set of people who are ready to go right now.

Or you could offer this only to paid members with good regular paymentsI would like to suggest that there is also a method like this.

Trust Score
Allow a trust score when viewing a profile based on length of account, blocks related to abuse specific topics (not lack of interest), phone number / email verification, number of positive interactions or favorites, threads muted etc... Maybe a machine learning algorithm. Should help prevent fakes, flakes, and bots interference by increasing checks on less trusted accounts

Use less internet
Grindr needs to use less Internet to send messages. Sometimes my Internet is weak and I don't send messages on Grindr but on another application I send them fine. The app uses too much Internet. I suggest that the app uses less Internet to send messages and update profiles from the main screen

Make message send and the app able to refresh on an android.
Have to restart the app to refresh and to be able to send messages a 2nd or 3rd time. Have an android and it is an inconvenience.to have to keep closing and restarting the app to talk to someone.
