Swipe to go back
Seems in the latest update (iOS 8.14.0) you’ve removed the ability to swipe right to go back, it just goes to the next profile. I don’t swipe thru all profiles. I tap on one I like, read the profile and message them or not and then I swipe right to go back to the profile thumbnails, that’s what should happen. Now you have to tap on the X at the top left of a profile to close it and go back to everyone’s profile. That is not intuitive and makes it harder to use. Also, changing the ‘Fresh’ tab to…

Change location
Ability to change your set location for a few days while trying to arrange a hookup in advance. Making your profile visible in that location.

Grid repositions back at top after viewing profile
When scrolling through the grid and viewing a profile, after you go back it should position you where you were, but since the last update it goes back to the top of the grid

Refresh query
With the new update the guys lost refresh automatically all the time and is soooo annoying. The refresh function as it was before was great.

Hide is unnecessary
As a user I do not want to be able to "hide" AND "block" profiles. I either don't want profiles to be accessible and them.having access toy profile (ergo: block them) or I can tolerate their presence. The ability to hide certain profiles (e.g. who did not show interest in me and whom I am not interested in) instead of blocking them is unnecessary, since I am able to unblock them at any given time. The disability to block them and just being able to hide them is redundant and at the moment not even functional.

Ummm do a better job at banning the correct people
How come you can’t block out fake accounts or people who steal photos but ban random accounts and their ip addresses over nothing???? What is the whole point of being on this app if you can’t even use it anymore because they block you

Remove the Say Something... widget
The new addition of the Say Something ... widget on a profile leads to a terrible user experience. The app is already barely performant on a non flagship phone. With the addition of this feature once you open a profile it immediately opens the keyboard lagging the application. The keyboard takes up the majority of the screen and you can't view the profile without closing the keyboard. There was already a button for chatting. This feature does nothing but cause the user extra work and gets in the way. Did anyone even try using the app before publishing this feature?

Receiving profiles for men HUNDREDS of MILES away
Two things. First, allow us to enter a "distance away" number in miles the same as other filters.
Second, automatically limit the grid entries to no more than 30 miles away unless we ask to see profiles more than 30 miles away (using the above filter).92 votes -
Showing people too far away
I wish that the app doesn’t show people far away within the grid…I keep seeing people that are over 60 miles away next to profiles that are only 1 mile away.

Please return the search bar in the messages. That is very useful for finding conversations. This was removed in the last update.

There is no search for chat option on the messages tab. It' would be really helpful if it's there. I remember it used to be there earlier

I block a profile. It comes back to my grid immediately. WTF.

Fake gps
Some guys actually have and use fake gps sometimes I see guys 13 -20 feet away meaning in my house and they are not it guys 2 miles away and at my place in one minute … that and the fact that some guys have more than one profile is extremely exhausting the waste of time sometimes I think Grindr pays people to create and use fake profiles … one time I saw my friends daughter pictures as a profile .. an 18 years girl .. saying that they even use Grindr to access to your phone and Facebook account…

Bring back favorites tab
Switching Favorites to a filter means that every time I want to look at my favorites, I have to add the Favorite filter to my search screen. If I have other filters on, I have to reset them in order to see profiles I’ve favorited that meet those filters, forcing me to reset all my filters just to look at my favorites. This is so annoying!
