1. Best Practices for Storing Snacks and Dry Foods to Maintain Freshness Longer

   Hello everyone,

I’ve been reading a bit about food storage habits lately, especially for snacks and dry goods that tend to lose freshness quickly once exposed to air and moisture.

One thing that came up repeatedly is how important proper packaging is in extending shelf life. Even simple items like chips, nuts, or dried snacks can lose their crunch and flavor if they’re not stored in a well-sealed, moisture-resistant container.

Some key points that stood out:

   Airtight sealing helps prevent staleness
Barrier protection against humidity is essential for crispy foods
Lightweight yet durable packaging improves handling and transport
Clear labeling helps with organization and inventory control

While researching, I found an example of packaging designed specifically for snack products that focuses on freshness protection and material strength:

   https://www.expertcustomboxes.com/custom-mylar-bags/custom-chips-mylar-bags

It highlights how specialized materials can help maintain product quality for longer periods, especially for items sensitive to air and moisture.

Has anyone here experimented with different storage methods for snacks or dry foods? I’d be interested to hear what has worked best in terms of keeping texture and taste intact over time.

2. Prices Grindr Xtra and Grindr Unlimited have become unattainable

Even the XTRA day pass is gone, you think people are going to pay these monthly/annual prices forever? They just keep going up and up, while your advertisements double so you're making even more money through ADs alone. Now if you want Unlimited you have to pay $40 a month PLUS TAX? I've been using this app for 10 years and it was such an easier experience and better layout before, and now it's just full up pop-up ads, or better yet you have to watch a 2 min ad just to view your most recent view on your profile. LOOK AT OUR ECONOMY, THE LAST THING THAT'S FREE IS SEX AND YOU'RE GONNA MAKE US PAY FOR THE BETTER EXPERIENCE, TO GET "better" connections? Absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention the app runs so much smoother when you're a subscribed member compared to when you have a free account, when you have a free account, you constantly have to close and reopen the app because of how many ads you guys allow on your platform. it's ridiculous.

3. 'Not Interested' Button to Reduce Ghosting

   Hi Grindr team,

I wanted to share an idea that I think could genuinely improve the experience on the app: a simple way to signal disinterest instead of just going silent.

Ghosting is really common here, and it leaves the other person in limbo, not knowing if a reply is coming or not. I'd suggest adding a "Not Interested" button in the chat. Tapping it would send a brief, polite automated message to the other person (something like "This person is no longer interested") and then close or archive the chat for both sides.

This wouldn't force anyone to have an awkward conversation, but it would give people clarity instead of leaving them hanging indefinitely. I think a lot of users would appreciate having a built-in, low-effort way to end a conversation respectfully.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, I hope it's something the team considers.

5. Bring back the block function.

Hiding the profiles does not work and often the profile pops back up. I don’t see why hiding is better than blocking when both are reversible.

10. Appstore

Subject: Report of intrusive App Store redirections by Grindr

I would like to report what I believe is an abusive behavior by the Grindr app on iPhone.

The app repeatedly opens the App Store without a clear or intentional request from me in order to promote other applications. This interrupts normal use of the app and, on some occasions, has led to accidental app downloads because the redirection is overly aggressive.

I believe this behavior creates a poor user experience and may mislead users into downloading apps they did not intend to install. I kindly ask Apple to review whether this behavior complies with the App Store Review Guidelines and, if necessary, take appropriate action to protect users from these intrusive practices.

Thank you for your time and for reviewing this report.

11. Tone down the ads

The ads are outrageous. I dislike mid typing for an Ad to pop up when trying to message someone back. The app has gotten worse over the last few years. Tone down the ads at least not pop up during your mid typing message.

12. Find couples to mingle with for myself and my girl

Fun and relaxed, down to earth and wanting to get out there together and in a bigger group and experience lots of thing, oh my gosh. Wine tasting, bigger group like bingo games, canvas painting, mystery rooms, getting drunk together from our witches brew and flying around this lately not in the good way, drag of a town, until we arrive, high up there in the sky, looking high as bell and cooler than ever, cause we’re all just together, and probably too cause we’d be on some magic broomsticks… but, combined, especially with four minds, my great idea I’m still trying to fully
Convince my boyfriend into, is that four minds are always better than one, if we all kind, stay committed, and communicate and keep our intentions and boundaries always in the light, so that everything is on the table and nobody ends up getting hurt, (not from one of our loves of course, but if you dunk and fall off of a magical flying broom, then that could actually hurt. Which reminds me, this isn’t. Job, this is absolutelyand 100% for fun, and as as hell town until the hottest poly on our matching brooms! Haha, kidding although that sound really cool. We just really wanna meet some new people who we can always count on to show up for us to give us a hug and and wet (not sloppy!) kiss hand consistency and a good tucking r have an awesome time together while trying a totally different dynamic out in our relationship. Lusters/lovers/friends ; must but not limited to, having a good sense of humor and extent communicate will always keep you around, unless your truth turns into a lie(s) (yuck dudes) so one lie or any lack. Of information that is obviously important in any type of relationships
, and well have do the whole breakup thing and I guess since I’m preaching the importance of truth and communication, rather than sending a breakup text I’ll try to force my boyfriend with me and the other mate, we can all break up face to face,m! and just tare a male/female couple, and we have been together for close to 10 years now. We absolutely love chatter and respect one another and we are looking to potentially add another male and female, (or whatever ends ups working best) into our sex and dating life, just to try it out and see what works and what doesn’t. We will obviously be sitting down initially and most important, so we can talk about it the fundamentals and make sure that we are all on the same page and very clear about all of our boundaries. Also, if you are the jealous dramatic type, legs call it s hard pass. You gotta be strong enough, emotionally and stable enough, to not cross boundaries or overstep and catch any feelings for either myself or my boyfriend and this is the absolute most important part. You can have any awesome opinions about either of us, but please, if you fall fast or are in a position where you’re wanting to find love on a monogamous relationship, this is not for you.
. We will not tolerate drama or any home wrecking around our relationship and also we have two at home together, which our top priority. We’re not exactly sure how involved we want you or anyone else to be involved. We will have some type it awkward “test date” type setting to see where we waive and where we don’t. Let’s get the direct messages flowing if you’re interested so we can get the ball rolling and start trying something new with you!! We will figure out all of the important stuff later on if our connection and energy vibes obviously. Then later on, diets things first, whoever decides and is also picked to join parts of our relationship, will also have to comfortable with the other people who may be also interested in joining this will be a group effort and everything will be talked about and no boundaries and limits will be left out! Can’t wait, let’s make our first date!

16. What Should You Look for in a Private Label Supplement Manufacturer

If you are planning to launch your own supplement brand, choosing the right private label manufacturer can be an important step. There are many factors to consider, including product quality, formulation options, manufacturing capabilities, packaging, minimum order quantities, and production timelines.
    https://prosafenutra.com

Some manufacturers offer multiple formats such as capsules, tablets, gummies, powders, and liquid supplements, while others focus on specific product categories.

What do you think is the most important factor to consider when choosing a private label supplement manufacturer? Is it product quality, flexibility, manufacturing experience, pricing, or the range of products they can produce?

17. Make the app actually work

Since the last update the app is worse than before. Extremely unresponsive. Messages being sent but not shown at all. Receiving 3 notifications for the same tap and no notifications for messages, or notifications after 3 minutes the message was sent. Taps appearing after 10 minutes. The current update on iphone has made it even less responsive than before with huge delays even when sending a simple message.

18. More transparency around the existence of AI settings

I have had my name in Grindr set to "checkAIsettings" for several months now. I still get roughly 10 people reaching out to me every day thanking me that I let them know about the existence of those settings. I found out because there was a one-time notice that nearly everyone missed. Don't blame the users for not paying attention. If this many people are reaching out to me, either you don't realize your approach was ineffective, or your approach was intentionally malicious. Please introduce more apparent and integrated ways of notifying users about the existence of the AI settings.
