Modification to discreet app icon
Even after choosing a discreet app icon but still when any notification comes , it shows that it is from Grindr and if someone clicks on that discreet app icon ...The word Grindr appears on the lock screen page instead of that discreet icon. So, if that happens then what is the use of providing discreet icon ?
The whole purpose people opt for discreet icon is that they don't want people to know that they are using "Grindr" but even after choosing discreet icon this word appears14 votes -

Age filter idea!
If i set the age filter issue in a range , for example, from 25 to 38 i am experiencing that the profiles where the age is not specified are being removed.
The only way to see them is to remove the age filter or to put it to the minimum but i think that it is not right: if a profile has not his age specified i have to see it even though i put an age range :)
In my opinion there should be the possibility to choose also “if not specified” in the age filter.

Fix clicking on chat
When you get a new message from somebody when there is an album already in the chat, Grindr freezes and does not pass through until you go to a different app and give back in. This is on ios

Restrictions on what I write in my profile
The ‘no old’ restriction on my profile is very bizarre. In my profile I state “around my age or older”, which is now getting flagged as me writing ‘no old’. I’m 28 years old, it would be extremely inappropriate and predatory of me to go after someone who’s 18 or 19, which is why I try to filter out teens who message me on this app with that sentence. Too many people lying about their age
Ive only encountered one instance where someone was lying because they were underage, and that was forever ago. I have an issue with guys constantly lying on their profile, saying they are younger than they are. It shouldnt be adjustable like the position or weight tabs are. DOB is asked right away when an account is created, so profile aged should coincide with that date. If they dont want to show their true age, fine, but the only option for that should be not showing any age at all.

Mandatory Verified Age/Face
The fact that there are so many blank profiles or profiles held by much older men targeting younger men is unsafe. This leads to predatory behavior, and makes it easy for bots to invade the app. There should be some kind of way to make it mandatory to send a photo ID to verify the person is real.

being allowed to choose which age group sees our profiles
we should be able to choose which age groups can see our profiles and which we don't. That way, as a 20 year old, i won't feel uncomfortable seeing 50 year olds view me

Instead of the button showing just "Age", make it say "18-29" or "30+" or "< 25" if a range has been set

I can’t believe I got flagged for having ‘no old’ in my bio. Maybe if your app protected users from everyone and anyone making sexual advances on them, you wouldn’t need to do such a thing. Me gustaría pasarles algo que estaba muy bien, pero lo cambiaron y ahora no está tan bien, antes se podía filtrar todos los perfiles por edad, incluso los que tienen edad oculta, ahora solo se pueden filtrar los que son visibles, esto fue un poco limitante. antes estaba bien.

App is buggy since update
App regularly does not load profile pictures, let me receive or send messages without closing the app and reopening it 5 times every time it happens, sometimes it takes 5 minutes and 3 ads to send one message.
