It would be nice if you could select what you don't want to see.
It would be nice if you could select what you don't want to see rather than always having to select what you do want to see. That way you could eliminate the profiles that you have absolutely no interest in.

Discreet app icon bug with notification for free boost sessions
There is a bug where notifications for "you have free boost sessions available" appear with the Grindr icon and app name instead of the configured discreet app icon. I don't have any use for this notification category in general, and can't disable it. But more importantly it bypasses the discreet app setting

Isso é literalmente inaceitável de um aplicativo e ainda esse que era pra ser uma referência acaba se tornando horrível apenas por forçar o usuário ou a abrir o aplicativo fora do aplicativo usado ou a pagar para não ser forçado... Buggy Music Feature
Pretty please with a cherry on top can the music feature be fixed? Not only is music a great way to bond make friends/butt buddies, but it is extremely disheartening trying to explore a cruisers posted tracks and not being able to hear them.

To be able to change users location with ultra subscriptions

So many bots lately!
I live in a small city (250k) - the amount of bots (all with the same downtown/obviously VPN set location) is absolutely wild. Every single one of them is (of certain not-gay-man identity) promoting their OnlyFans through twitter/x or Snapchat/telegram. I’ve been an unlimited subscriber for 3 years or so - Grindr DO BETTER!

Include fields for preference details & consider consent forms
I know there's a filter, that's not what I'm asking for. What I am suggesting is a behavioral barrier that acts as an identifier of a person's type.
In the same way I am able to list my status, height, and tribes, I should also be able to list if I'm ok with people under 30 reaching out (I am not ok with it lol). I feel like there's potential to leverage the subject fields to at least cover dos and donts without taking up the character limit in the about me section.

Grindr should separate in-person connection from passive adult-content browsing.
The mobile app could remain primarily focused on meeting, chatting, dating, and finding people nearby. Separately, Grindr could create an age-gated adult website with Instagram-style profile feeds or creator pages where users can post explicit photos, videos, and updates.
A user’s app profile could optionally link to their Grindr web feed. People who only want to view someone’s content could visit the feed without messaging them, requesting albums, or implying that they want to meet.
This would create two clearer experiences:
