Trans community presence. Make a separate app for the trans community.
Make Grindr gay again. I want to date dudes not dudes that look like woman. It’s nothing against transgender, live like you want to live, but go colonize your own platform.

Smoking? Yes/No/
I want to be able to look for just other smokers as I love smoking. It's a fetish and it would be great to be able to add it to my filters just as well as I suppose some don't want to meet smokers

Get rid of the ads there is too many ads app is unusable every 5 seconds it's taking you to a different ad or a web browser page which should not be opening all on its own you guys have made this app unusable with so many ads it's ridiculous many of us are actually talking about getting rid of grinder app is unusable because of the ads this app is very poor right now

Make the promotions pop up less.
It’s really annoying when the promotion pops up everytime i do something on the app. It should only be one time and there should be a “not interested” button

Doesn't Allow videos in my Album to be played more than once without paying a million dollars for premium it should replay for free with all the ads i have to watch.

Everyone's distance on there profile should stay on thy should not be able to turn it off
Everyone's distance on their profile should stay on there should be no option to turn it off guys need to be able to see how far they are to know if they want to make that drive to hook up before I even say yes I will come I want to know how far they are from me before I give an answer and it will save time I can see how far they are oh they're too far I'm not going to hit him up you can still tell how far they are anyways by hit on the profile…

Change the theme
You could have the option to change the theme, colors of background and conversations because this classic theme everybody could recognize, even from far away. Sometimes you are dating or in a relationship and happened to me, I had a horrible fight with my boyfriend because I was just checking around the guys in Grindr, because we were in a different city, just for fun, without any intention of contact someone, I was alone at the moment, into a car, my boyfriend was coming and from the distance, even with me into the car he recognized the colors, the restructure…

Fix age filter to include all profiles
When I use the age filter, it excludes profiles that hide their age, even if their age is within the range I’m looking for. So if I want all profiles 25-35, I have to do two searches: once with the filter, and once with no age filter, which is a pain.
Can there be either:
1) Age filter includes profiles that don’t display their age
2) Age filter has “not specified” option so I can look at age hidden profiles while excluding someThanks. It’s my one complaint that would make it so much easier to use.

Grindr has disappointed
You can no longer put a filter like leather, bear, mature, at most 3 profiles appear and not always. You appear ads with sound (which is illegal with sound) too many times in a row. It's a shame that they remove more and more things and the prices to have a normal version are like paying for Netflix... I wish we had as many options here as on Netflix

Please redo end of year survey
Please redo end of year survey. The current survey was belittling to gay men in my opinion. Not all gay men are into trivial gay culture of pop stars and "gasps". Your survey could have substance with questions on current geopolitical issues or even basic questions about the most pressing current issues in our own communities. Please stop pigeonholling all gay men into an archetype of silly airhead pop star idolizing prancing gay men. Some of us are actually intelligent and want to discuss real issues in our world!
