Uploading of AI generated or modified photos should be disallowed. Easy to detect via image metadata. More difficult for scammers and bots to upload such photo.

Local service recommendations: trusted pros nearby, vetted by the community
Travel mode already helps people find their way in a new city. A local-services layer could do the same for trusted professionals nearby.
Someone new to Stone Park who needs roof work would rather hear a recommendation from locals than from an advertisement. A community-vetted list where neighbours point to the best roofer in stone park would help newcomers find someone trustworthy fast.
Recommendations could carry a short note about the job done, so the list stays useful.

Why only can share albums to 5000 people?? Unlimited let people find unlimited profiles but can’t share albums unlimitedly to people, what’s even logic there???

Generic Notifications
We already have the option for a Discreet App Icon, which is chef's kiss. We need a setting where you can make notifications generic, too. That way we can know someone's messaging us, but the entire world doesn't have to know it's from Grindr

Make gender identities searchable
Grindr offers a huge variety of gender identities that users can select to describe themselves. However, those same identities are not available as search criteria.
For example, a user can identify as Queer/Cuir, Non-binary, Gender Fluid or Gender Non-Conforming, but cannot specifically search for people who identify in those ways.
At the same time, Grindr includes “Trans” under Tribes and allows users to search for that category. This raises a question of consistency: why is “Trans” treated differently from other gender identities?

Only Allow Messages from Profiles with a Clear Face Photo
I'd like to request a new privacy setting that gives users more control over who can message them.
The problem
The grid filter helps me see profiles with photos, but it doesn't control who can contact me. I get messages from blank or faceless profiles every day. I have to ask for a face pic every time, and what comes back is often blurry, cropped, hidden behind sunglasses, or clearly years old. This wastes time on both sides and makes it harder to know who I'm talking to.Proposed solution: an opt-in "Inbox Filter"

When someone relocates, the first week is a blur of small setup tasks: a transit card, a local SIM, a utility account, the nearest pharmacy. A built-in city essentials checklist - editable, local, tick-off-able - would make the app genuinely useful beyond day one.
Moving to Dubai, my own list started with transport and utilities: activate the transit card, then set up power and water and learn to verify the monthly amount through this guide. Every city has an equivalent list; the app could ship one per city.

Travel mode: save a simple city guide with transport basics
When travelling, the first things I look up in a new city are how the metro works, what the local transport card costs and how to check its balance. A lightweight travel mode that pins a small city guide (transport, safety settings, emergency numbers) at the top of the grid for the visited city would be genuinely useful.
For example, before a Dubai trip I saved this page about getting around: https://uaemercury.com/dubai-metro-timings/
Even a simple bookmark shelf inside travel mode, pre-filled with official transport and safety links for the destination, would help travellers feel oriented faster.

I feel that extra members should have the incognito feature.
For the amount of money we pay a month app users who pay for the extra features should at least have incognito. There are times where I just want to cruise around and be nosy without the hassle of getting hit up by stalkers. we literally pay 20 and change a month to basically have the same features as a regular user. It’s not fair..
