why doesn't the app recognize bodies of water ???
there is a lake !! why doesn't the app recognize this fact ?? it says someone is 6 miles away , but they are ACTUALLY 24 miles away because of the giant body of water i live on that you have to drive around ????!!!! it would BE 5 miles IF i had a boat ....but i don't

Verification
I would like to suggest adding a user verification feature on Grindr to confirm the authenticity of profile pictures. This feature would allow users to verify their identity by submitting a quick photo or video that matches their profile, which could then display a verified badge. This would greatly reduce the risk of “catfishing” by ensuring that the person in the photos is actually the one behind the account. It would provide users with more confidence and safety when interacting, making the app a more trustworthy space for real connections.

Why has inbox search been deactivated ? Seems to be quality and value is going backwards but the prices keep increasing

BLOCK - Do you not understand that you might use blocking to remove co-workers, friends or family from each others views?????????? I do not want people who work for or with me to see my profile, pictures, or preferences. Totally asinine that you have removed this. Hiding does nothing - I can see those I have hidden are viewing my profile. You clearly do not care about our privacy as paying customer. WILD!

There is pop-up " lose the ads.find more profiles" this pop-up keeps on coming despite removing multiple times. Due to this many a time we are unable to access our profile settings etc. to access we have to completely shut down the app and restart again. Kindly fix this issue on priority.

How about an App. Called Findhr for our lesbian community. I live in West Hollywood CA. I love Grindr and it keeps me connected and has for years.

Add the “Disability” option to your descriptions to make it easier for people with disabilities, such as wheelchair users, to meet. Indeed, disabled people are victims of discrimination and racism on the Grindr app.

Separate Community for MB
The current community is saturated with MB users, which affects the intended user experience.
Suggest creating a dedicated MB community with a distinct account type during registration.
Users seeking MB services can switch to that space via a toggle button, keeping the main community focused and clean.
Anyone in the main community claiming to be an MB should be reportable and permanently blocked to maintain clear boundaries and purpose.

Enforce User to Update Their Position
Some users leave their position unset, which impacts the accuracy of filtered views when searching for specific roles.
Users without a defined position are excluded from role-based filtering, leading to incomplete or misleading results.
This also causes ambiguity, as a user’s role may be assumed incorrectly until clarified.
Requiring users to update their position ensures clearer visibility and improves the overall user experience.

Added upgrades have deteriorated basic app functions
Every time there is an upgrade, I assume it is fixing the core issues: The app performance is very very slow. Messages don't load, profiles don't refresh. This is the core function of the app. Instead, every upgrade seems to be a way to upsell me to pay for more functions, or move functions that used to be included to a new payment tier.
