GRINDR URGENTLY needs to put a way of confirming peoples identity to keep our community safe
The amount of people using the app to impersonate, hurt, assault and thieve from users in unacceptable. GRINDR needs to keep its users safe I have seen the same profile online after knowing 10 people have reported him for assault in Athens Greece and theft and they do nothing about it. there's been murders, druggings, muggings all from using the app in Australia a group of extremist people almost murdered and assaulted an 18 year old guy thinking he was meeting another 18 year old for a hook up. Catfish8ng / ghosting
"I am repeatedly targeted by fake dates (catfishing/ghosting) organized through multiple profiles created for the sole purpose of mocking people.
The platform shares a huge part of the responsibility for enabling this malicious behavior due to its current architecture. Specifically: anyone can register endless accounts using a single phone number; when a user blocks you, their chat history and availability vanish, allowing them to return later under a new identity; and it is practically impossible to report or block these profiles because they usually block you first. Finally, there is no option for profile verification, user feedback, or rating systems.

Je respecte les règles et les conditions d’utilisation de Grindr et je pense que ce bannissement a pu être appliqué par erreur.
Je n’ai jamais eu l’intention de violer les directives de la communauté.
Je vous serais reconnaissant de bien vouloir réexaminer mon compte et me donner une seconde chance si possible.

I noticed the app sometimes crashes when switching between chat and other background tabs while studying. Is this a known optimization issue on older devices?

Why having adds if I pay 99 annual
Why should customers have to see advertisements when they are already paying $99 a year for a subscription? The price started much lower and has continued to increase over time, and now, despite paying for the service, there are additional restrictions on profiles and ads appearing when opening messages and even in the middle of searches.
As a long-time customer who has supported the service from the beginning, I find this very disappointing and unfair. Paying customers should receive a premium experience without being constantly exposed to advertisements or increasing restrictions.
For my part, I have decided not to renew…

Albums - allow more videos per album
The album feature needs to be heavily edited.
For paid customers. I will suggest 3 videos to be allowed in one album. With added built in video editing features like crop/rotate/preset filters. Maintain No screenshot policy (good one btw) . Maintain the temporary album share option. Add download video option for the owner to reclaim videos . I had some videos uploaded in the album. My cell phone got destroyed and now the only copy of the video is in grinder albums and i cant reclaim or download it. Allow a Blurr face only tool ( use ur AI capital…
