Does not work in the subway (won’t refresh)
Not sure why, but it won’t refresh in the NYC subway- even if I have full bars, and whether or not I’m connected to transit WiFi. Anyone else experiencing this or know why?

Remplacer le terme « efféminé » par « féminin » dans les tags
Le terme efféminé est couramment utilisé pour décrire des personnes de la communautés ayant une expression de genre empruntant aux codes féminin.
Problème : ce terme a une connotation historiquement homophobe et misogyne. Loin d’être neutre ou de valoriser, il déprécie les hommes, censés être ‘virils’, qui reprennent des codes féminins, considérés comme moins nobles, plus faibles.
L’exemple le plus parlant c’est l’absence de terme réciproque. Pour parler d’une femme qui emprunte des codes masculins, on dira couramment qu’elle est « masculine ».
Le terme « féminin » pourrait donc simplement et utilement se substituer au terme « efféminé » que l’on utilise aujourd’hui

Adverts that won't close. Adverts that hang the app.
This issue of popup ads that present the [X] to close, that promptly ignores it and opens up the play store or similar and hangs the app all the time having to force close it gotta be fixed. I'm not sure your advertisers would be happy to know that they are wasting money advertising on your horrible app.

When roaming or browsing your faborites should also reset to the new location.
When roaming or browsing your favorites are still based out of your actual location. They do not readjust to the new location. It would be good if they did.

Fake accounts. People using other people's pictures, blank profiles.
Grindr needs to go to facial verification. Too many people unloading pictures that are not them.

Larger pics
Have an option to make the profile page have larger profile images so you can see them before you click on them for more information. This more for people who xant see shit!! Lol

My idea will stop the people of on here wasting everybody's time and energy and trying to find people that they're trying to meet on here instead of the people on here that likes to play games you really need to relook this app over

Map with active users and their avatars
I would like if the app had a Map section for accessibility reasons. A map where you can see small avatars of the profile pictures of the users and where they are.
Why? It's not the same if a guy is 1km away with a very good public transport connection, than a guy that is the same distance away but you have to take 3 metro/bus lines, or it's on the top of a hill you have to walk up (if you can walk). Some dates won't happen because of the subway/bus transfers you have to make or the uphill…1 vote -
