Don't ban someone for having "not into trans" in their profiles.
I'm gay. I'm not trans. There's no judgment, but I will never, ever be attracted to trans. There's nothing wrong with that. You give me the ability to find trans, but you don't give me the ability to filter it out.
Putting in my profile that I'm not into trans saves everyone time. It's not discriminatory to give someone notification that I don't like men in dresses. Again, no judgment. Live and let live, but don't punish me for being gay and wanting to meet other gay men.

suicide after banned account
i would like you to watch my livestream when i kill myself because grindr banned my account for no reason.they took away my happiness.

Fix the notification sounds.
I have all my notification sounds/vibrations turned off for the app yet I still get that infamous Grindr notification sound playing on my phone. Sometimes I don’t even have the app running and it plays. Please fix this issue.

Unblock account
After checking the list of blocked users, we only get an option to unblock by clicking on two options, cancel or Ok
But there is no option to view account as once the person is unblocked, its very hard to find that person's profile on the grid again as it automatically disappears and shows up at the city where he is currently in.

Ban appeal
Grindr bans a person who deny to sleep with an old man without doing any further investigation or see the history of the messages. They should better hire a quality team than just hire a person who bans the profile of a victim against whom the issue has been raised. If this app is meant for old people, do let us know and all the below 40 can withdraw from the application.

New HIV status categories
Would be cool to add a neutral option for HIV status to help reduce stigma for people affected by HIV. (Affected being synonymous with at risk)
The neutral option would regroup people affected by HIV actively taking steps to avoid or mitigate HIV infection. A person who is seronegative and taking PREP and a person who is seropositive and undergoing treatment to remain undetectable would both fall into this category.18 votes -

The fucking "X" to close out of the ads. PLEASE make it bigger. I click into the ad EVERYTIME and it almost deturs me from opening the app.

Too many females and trannies on site!
This isn’t to bash anyone or discriminate against any gender or gender identity, but this used to be an app where gays could come to meet, hookup, chat, etc. But now with trans and CD’s making profiles on a site that wasn’t created for them, they’re taking away from the grid space that gays would otherwise have to interact. I also don’t believe that straight guys should be allowed to make profiles on grindr because I honestly believe that half of those profiles are fake and used to extract personal information from the gays that attempt to interact with them.…

Fix the distance i want to talk to guys that lives by me not an hour away
Fix the distance I want to be able to talk to guys that live near me not an hour away grinder location distance don't match Google maps it's like 20 off and when we decide to hook up that are further away than what grinder says

It's extremely boring to be taken up to the top of the page every time the page is up to date or refreshed.

Replotting and returning to top of list
I scroll down four "pages" and see two people I would like to know more about. I click the first person, see their info, and then hit the "back" arrow on Android. The user list refreshes, and...I’m back at the start of the list. I then have to scroll back down four pages and hope the other person is still there.
Fix: when you click "back," you return to the place in the list where you started. (As EVERY OTHER APP on Android works!)

Notes on profile without making favourite
We should be able to add notes on a profile without adding the profile to our favourites. This helps to identify profile and add notes that may be critical to 'finding your type' and safety without adding the said profile to favourites.

Language field
Would be nice to have a field on each profile showing the language each user know so other can write in one of the languages we know, otherwise we have to do it by messaging

Set a cruiseship as location
A lot of gays love cruising on cruiseships but as soon as a ship is not in a port, the users cannot be located anymore. It would be great if you could for example add a cruise ship as location (for a certain time frame, ie time of the cruise) - independent from gps location. I‘m currently on a large ship (non gay cruise) with approx. 500 gays but it’s almost impossible to use Grindr as the location is always wrong (it’s a transatlantic cruise so even more difficult).

Identity Verification Feature
I think it would very useful to implement a feature in order to verify the identity of a Grindr User in order to ensure that the profile photos are not fake. For example let's consider this scenario.
1) I have some face pics on my Grindr profile.
2) I want to have something on my profile who demonstrates that my face pics are not fake.
3) I use some tool that asks me to open my camera and to put my face on a frame in order to record data of my face.
