1. Add a Local Events Tab!

   Add a tab that caters to the community where users much like fet life can host events and publish them on there. Like here in California there are a ton of events! Especially in LA and SF. We also have the Power Exchange here in SF that caters to people and the Citadel that caters to the BDSM community. steam works in Berkeley every night has a theme night that caters to gay men and on genderF%#k night it caters to trans individuals. There are so many events that the community’s and businesses that this would really benefit from. Like people couple publish about local orgies or swinger parties that cater to all genders and types of people. Much like other hookup/sexual based dating sites do. This is a good opportunity to include people to potentially meeting more people through user based events located in the app that the user base creates and other business’s that want to toss an event out there that caters to theses specific groups of people.

2. 'Last tested' date without sexual health status

   I'd like to be able to set a "last tested" date without having to specify a sexual health status; at the moment it resets to unset if you try.
   The reason is that my status is "Positive; undetectable". I don't want to lie by selecting anything else, but I don't want people to instantly discard me as soon as they see the "positive" bit. Having just a (recent) date, though, would signal someone who's up-to-date of his status.
   Also, having it reset when unset means you can't use the test reminder system if you do not wish to disclose your status.

4. Travel profile

   Allow xrtra/unl subscribers to create a temporary travel profile, (only 1 profile can be used at a time) but usually when I am at home I don’t have my profile pic and a lot of profile info showing but when I travel I do, it would be nice to maybe create a sub profile, having to remove all the messages from the place I was just at to clean up my inbox is a pain, when I could just delete the travel profile when I come back, and return back to my primary profile, I know this could easily be done by just creating another account but then I will lose my benefits of my subscription service.

6. Make tags hidden

   Tags are fun but I don't want everyone to know what kinky stuff I'm into because it might deter them from speaking with me. If we have the option of hiding our tags from being visible to other, it would allow for us to show up in searches for our tags without them being visible to everyone.

7. Mark used photos

   Until recently, when you use one of your photos in a message, that photo was grade out in your available photos within that same message. It made it very easy to know what you had already sent. Please reactivate that feature. Thank you!

9. Fixing the Bot issue

   There are way too many bots and scams on this app. Every time I’m on the app now it spams me with taps from bots and scams, please find a way to fix this. I have 20+ in a row of just spam. Maybe a verification system through email or number so they don’t have easy access.

10. Get rid of fake AI generated profiles

    I've enjoyed Grindr for many years but in the last month or so it is becoming increasingly unusable for a gay man looking to meet other men.
    The app is getting overrun with fake profiles, using AI generated photos purporting to be Transwomen. I've also seen some profiles purporting to be Cis women. The latter raises a serious question about what Grindr is - inclusivity is one thing, opening it up to all comers is quite another. Inclusivity taken to it ultimate conclusion just results in invisibility of those who Grindr started out trying to serve.
    My other question for you is about Grindr's monetisation strategy. I have noticed adverse changes to the offering for non-subscribers. First it was removal of the ability to block profiles on the grid; this became "hide" and meant that the number of profiles visible decreased. Then there was the change to age filtering. Initially age could be filtered in yearly increments, then it was 3-yearly increments and now it is 5. And with this latest change, filtering for age reduces the number of profiles in the grid.
    Now putting together my two questions - is Grindr deliberately tolerating the fake profiles so that they crowd out the grid available to non-subscribers and deliberately prevent users from blocking such profiles to stop them circumventing this monetisation strategy?
    Are my suspicions well founded or am I being a conspiracy theorist?

    The right now tab is cool, but, as somene who already pays waaaay too much for Unlimited, I shouldn't have to pay even more to post there. Right now should be free to XTRA/unlimited users.

14. Identifying scammers

    Hey guys. Not sure if you guys have been told about this or not. This was an idea the members came up with and it’s been passed along from member to member. There’s been such a huge onslaught of scammers on the site as you undoubtedly know. It’s almost impossible to maneuver around it. So what people have been asked to do if they’re suspicious is to ask the guy to do a selfie and instruct them to for example hold one finger up. That way you can see if the actual person matches the picture. The first time it was asked of me I was shocked, but then it was explained to me why and it made perfect sense. Maybe there’s a way you guys could incorporate that into the app. I’ve been on and off Grindr since the beginning and it’s almost intolerable with the scammers. I’m sure you probably already know, but they always start up the same by greeting you a short sentence of something and then they go directly to inquiring what you do for a living. 17. Make grindr For gay Men

    I Keep seeing trans and fem only if a man is not gay or bi then they should not be in a app that was originally for gay men straight guys and Trans have there own sites so it's only fair we have grindr
    And there should be a ban for anyone who tries to join a site for gay men I'm seeing females on here for goodness sake it's not right please make this app for gays bisexuality and curious str8 only

18. Block All Female Sex Worker Profiles!

    I am constantly inundated by profiles (with obviously fakes pics) from supposed trans female sex workers on here. On at least 3 occasions, the individual contacting me stated that they were under 18 (I took screenshots in each case to have on-hand if they are ever needed for legal reasons). It is extremely disappointing that Grindr freely allows women on this site now, let alone women who try to offer paid sexual services to gay men (the stupidity of which is astounding!). These days I seem to spend at least 50% of my time on Grindr trying to block female profiles in a whack-a-mole manner, my experience of using Grindr has diminished significantly in the past year. But even with that aside, it is abhorrent that Grindr permits underage female sex workers on this site!

19. Discrimination against bears and big guys

    CHASER IS STILL NOT A TAG AND IT HAS BEEN MENTIONED MULTIPLE TIMES IN THESE BOXES. BEFORE TRANS WAS ADDED CHASER WAS SUGGESTED FOR A TAG AND UP TO NOW AS A PAYING MEMBER IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN ADDED. IS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO ADD A CATEGORY A SIMPLE WORD?
