1. Design a slider bar to adjust distance between nearby users

   I’m Grindr xtra and seeing people who are miles and miles away from me in which I won’t be able to travel that far to possibly meet. I have bad anxiety so can’t travel far distances. It would be great if a slider bar which could increase and decrease the distance between you, and near by users.

   Cada dia al entrar en la app es ver diversidad de vendedores de drogas de todo tipo en donde usan palabras claves y/o imagenes como 🍀🍃🍇🔋, deberia existir la forma en bloqueo definitivo, ya que muchas veces deshanilitan cuentas solo por que alguien reporto sin haber infringido alguna norma y aca aparecen cada 2 segundos, y agota ya que la app perdió el rumbo al estar lleno de heterosexuales vendiendo drogas o mujeres ofreciendo pornografia.

3. Hide pinned Messages filter

   In the messages Filters allow an option to hide pinned messages, unless you receive a new unread message. So your pins would be otherwise in their usual place in chronological order, and when you deactivated this setting, your pins would be displayed at the top of the list.
   Activate the setting and the pins disperse, leaving you an easy to view space at the top of the screen to view the inbox.
   Also. Give us a “mark as unread” capability. In case we open a message but don’t have time to respond.

4. Restore Unlimited Explore Messaging

   I purchased Grindr Xtra mainly for the unlimited Explore messaging feature. Recently, this feature was restricted to only 5 people. This is a key feature I use and expect as part of my subscription. I kindly insist that the unlimited Explore messaging feature be restored.

5. Report OnlyFans

   The profiles clogging the grid with offsite commercial advertisements for their OnlyFans accounts are annoying, a waste of paying members time and money, and against the Terms of Service. I want to use Grindr to "connect" and "engage" as in Grindr's mission statement -- not be spammed by a wannabe "content creator."

   Add "Commercial advertisement" as one of the categories to quickly report. Ban repeat offenders.

6. Move the Right Now Button

   Please move the button that launched “Right Now”. I have hit that so many times on accident when im not really looking. Yes, you can turn it off, but the timer keeps going and it wastes 1 of your 3 weekly chances to use it when you actually want to.

   Also just disappointing it was restricted to mostly paid members use.

8. Show users distance range/ filter profiles with no distance

   Firstly, let me preface by saying that I understand very well the reasons for not showing someone’s distance if he/she does not want it shown. It can be a combination of privacy, safety, both or something else.

   That being said, I get a lot of messages from people that hide their distances. Additionally, if I am using filters and the results are only profiles that have distances hidden, I don’t know if I’m talking to somebody 5 miles away, 500 miles away, or 5000 miles away.

   We can preserve someone’s safety and privacy while at the same time helping other users find people within their distance ranges by showing some indication of distance through ranges. For example, a variable can be placed on everyone’s profile that shows either something vague (very close, close, nearby, far away, very far away) or something a little more specific (<5 miles, 5-15 miles, 15-30, etc). That way you will have an idea if the person is anywhere near your current location. Because this is a problem sometimes.

   In the cascade, something similar could be done by breaking up the profiles into groups, kind of like when you get to the end of the free profiles and suddenly your face with a group of extra profiles. Profiles in the first group to be less than 5 miles away or simply “close.” And then so on and so on.

   The ability to filter out those who do not show any distance information is also an option.

12. Stop making us get a full screen Boost ad every single day

    This up is truly infuriating. I pay specifically to remove ads, but for some reason you keep giving me this one. There’s no way to swipe the ad closed, and you can’t even say you aren’t interested - you have to just press “maybe later,” and then it pops up again the next day.

    I’m not interested in people who aren’t close, so if I know I won’t ever boost, there should be a way to permanently snooze these (or take them away completely, since pop up ads that block the screen is literally a terrible marketing strategy in the industry regardless. This only works to get accidental clicks, not subscribing to a service.)

13. warning for ads

    Ads pop up without warning which means you accidentally click on them, this is unsafe and can lead to being scammed or hacked. The App Store generally cannot find the apps too which I would imagine means they were removed from being linked to scams. Grindr should test the authenticity of all ads and should display a warning timer before the ad so people don’t click the link mistakingly. I actually wanted to complain but could not find the function.

14. Grindr is taking me back to the top of the page every time i enter some profile. And it means CONSTANTLY

    Grindr should let me be where i want to be when I'm scrolling through profiles on the main page. Instead of constantly and every time taking me back to the top of the page. There's a button ⬆️ isn't it. I'm gonna press it if i only decide that now it's the time to go back to the top. Thank you and take care!

18. Blank profiles by gps

    GPS location sets which profiles I see. 50% of those profiles are Blank. Thus I block them so I can only view those which have a profile picture.

    I dont wish to permanently block these people. They could be great, but shy, individuals. Yet without a paying membership I do not wish to take up my contactable peeps with those blanks....
    See what im saying? I'm blocking 10-20 people per day..permanently blocking... thats not right.
    There should be a feature to remove blank profiles from the list of those in your area.. and to disable blank profiles from contacting you (membership)
