1. Share profiles

   Share profiles , like if I want my friend to see a hot guy. . I want to be able to share the hot guys profile with my friends. The hot guy receives notification that their profile was shared but they wont be able to see who share the profile unless they were an extra subscriber. People should be able to choose if they're profile is shareable or not

2. Ads now require you physically click?

   So I’ve noticed that ads are now requiring that I physically click on whatever app it’s adverting. Specifically the apps that are in the app store. To get them to go away and even that won’t happen unless I flick the app store section either up or done to get it off the screen and then only have whatever is playing. I do not get the X button until i’ve done all of that and it means I have to go to the app every time. It’s not my favorite thing, but I suspect it could mess up the advertisers analytics. I’m not sure if you guys do PPC or what but if it’s doing that for everyone else also it may look like they have a lot more people clicking on their advertisements than actually are interested in it.

3. Trips vs Roam

   I am confused about what the “trips” will do if I set it. Will it do the same thing as “roam” and place my profile in the location I am traveling to. Or would it just be visible to people where I am right now? Also does roaming and having your profile visible in another location mean that you wouldn’t show up wherever you actually are while you have the roam feature on?

5. NSFW blocking option

   Option to block NSFW content if selected any option that isn't "Yes please" on profile section, or if nothing is selected. I hate being sent unsolicited dick pictures when I have specifically selected not to see them, or if I don't want to choose a selection.

   There should be an option to block any profile a specific user makes from the devices that they use to create new profiles, or to prevent them from being able to create profiles if they have been repeatedly reported for harassment or stalking. I have been dealing with harassment since March from a user who lives in my area and deletes a blank profile after I block him. He always finds my profile because I post pictures, and harasses me all over again. I have blocked him countless times and there isn't an option to do anything other than block him repeatedly. Not okay.

9. App is exploiting horniness

   I get making profit off such a popular app but my god could it be reasonable the free version of this app is repulsive to use pay 40$ a month for Mediocre experiences that couldn’t been free when did human interaction need to cost.

11. Eliminate the Bots / Spam

    Stop the bots or users that send links to other websites. It’s so frustrating- I get targeted within 15 minutes of logging. Clean it up.

    I’d like to share a feature idea based on a common user experience, particularly relevant in regions where being openly gay still carries social risk (such as India and other conservative cultures).

    Problem:
    In many such regions, users often avoid profile photos for safety reasons. Conversations typically progress to private photo exchanges, but this creates a trust imbalance: one user is expected to share first, after which the other may block without reciprocating. This leads to anxiety, frustration, and negative user experiences, even when both parties had genuine interest.

    Areas Addressed:

    • Trust asymmetry during private photo sharing
    • Fear of exposure and misuse of shared images
    • High block rates after one-sided pic sharing
    • Cultural and safety sensitivities in non-Western markets

    Proposed Solution (Brief):
    Introduce a "Mutual Pic Swap” feature where photo sharing is locked until both users upload their images. The interface could visually show two side-by-side slots—one for each user. Photos remain inaccessible until both slots are filled, at which point they unlock simultaneously.

    This ensures fairness, consent, and reduces anxiety, while encouraging more respectful and meaningful interactions.

    I believe this feature could significantly improve user trust, reduce negative interactions, and better support Grindr’s global user base with culturally sensitive design.

    It’s hard to believe this workflow was designed by anyone who considered the customer experience or basic fairness. Suspending accounts, continuing to charge, and providing no responsive support indicates a serious failure in reasoning, oversight, and internal controls. This is not how a competent subscription service operates.

20. Filters cause unfair loss of profile accessibility.

    Make the number of accessible profiles the same after filtering. Simple filters limit the number if profiles you can access. Seems a little unfair.
