block single domains
If someone posts a single domain to you, guess what it's spam! Block it! So, for example if someone posts "gute.org" ( I think that is an example as "it" blocked me after to told them to fuck themselves) simply block it. Look everyone already thinks your app totally sucks so why not try to improve it even if just a bit!

Are there any plans to address these concerns in future updates?
How does Grindr currently balance user safety, privacy, and fair enforcement when using automated or AI-assisted moderation systems to flag accounts, messages, or behavior?
In particular, how are false positives handled when users are restricted, shadow-banned, or permanently banned without clear explanations? Many users report losing access despite following the rules, and the lack of transparency makes it difficult to understand what went wrong or how to avoid future violations.
Is there (or will there be) a clearer appeal process that includes human review, specific feedback on which rule was triggered, and realistic response timelines? Additionally, how does Grindr ensure…

Parameter to mask/block automatically fake girls and trans
I have 0 interest in trans, girls, fake girls, etc. Please add a parameter so I can block those and revert to a true male-male hookup apps or please create a spin off for other interests than male-male. It’s becoming nightmarish in here; regular gays are being discriminated and most trans look like very cheap and gross prostitutes. By the way, am I soon to get Tampax adds here? I’m getting so many ads for woman stuff (most of the time now)!!!

Grindr against our security
Experimenting the politics of grindr about list of blocked profiles. After I am blocking a certain amount of profiles , after few weeks reappear in my grid. There is a maximum of profile we can block? I am paying a service that is not contributing to my security. Does anyone else experimenting that?

Conceal activity from specific users
This is both a dating and hookup app. Sometimes I meet someone IRL and want keep seeing them, but it does not mean I immediately want to enter a monogomous relationship with them. I would like the option to hide my activity, online statis etc. from people I know without completely blocking them. Its awkward when you activate Right Now mode, and you get a message from someone youve been on two dates with, "oh wow, you could have just texted me". For the sake of us in the non-white community. Please bring back allowing to filter out yt ppl from our grid black people and Asians often feel excluded by the amount of yt people on the app make it easier to connect with people who share your experiences and culture

Add an option to report fake profiles
Fake profiles block you when you call them out then you don't get a chance to report them and they keep trying to scam other people getting them to leave Grindr or give personal info. Add a recently chatted section that people who block you show up in so you can report them . To remove more fake profiles quicker.

Profiles about drugs and sexual services
In Colombia, it is common to see profiles that explicitly or subtly indicate they sell drugs, work as escorts, or offer sexual services for money. Given that you review and disapprove photos if they don't meet certain criteria, why don't you review the profiles themselves and more effectively penalize those offering such services?

Search names
Should be able to find someone based off display name. I’ve lost so many chats with people I could’ve been dating but can’t find them anymore. Searching and searching with filters is alittle too much.

Multiselect
We need a multi select feature on the grid to hide people en masse. We need a multiselect feature in the chat list to delete multiple dead chats at the same time.
This app is TREMENDOUSLY overpriced for value, and getting incrementally worse, not better.

Reported users notifications
Sometimes im catching myself instead of interacting with grindr users i am just looking for catfish, bots, scams, users offering escort services, selling drugs etc.etc profiles. I got addicted to this especially now when grindr full of them. We report them, but we dont know the outcome. if grindr actually banned them or even investigated these profiles. Would be good if you guys could notify what actions was taken. Something similar to Instagram when I report profile, after few days I get notification what happened after investigation: if profile was suspended, no action was taken, profile was notified about breach…

Let's make grinder great again let's take grinder back to when it first came out in 2009 there where no problems with the app and the prices were great the prices back then were not like they are now now they're outrageous on the price and there was not so many ads and the grindr layout on the app was great it was not trash like it is now take the layout on the app like it was when grindr first come out, it was great
