there is too much advertising!
It is very stressful trying to chat with someone. Every time I open a chat, I get an ad, no matter how many times I close and open the app, even when I see the full ad. The last time I wanted to see an ephemeral photo, and when I opened it I got an advertisement and I couldn't see the photo. Please fix this, it really doesn't make me want to continue using the app, and on top of that the cost of "Xtra" is too expensive. I can't pay that much. Make Grindr great again!

Search radius for free subscribers isnt really an incentive to upgrade to premium status its more of a mind fuck or a turn off. Too increase the number of upgrades the administrators should mix it up and get the free subscribers a taste of the forbidden fruit just to give them a sense of what's behind the sacred veil.

I dont wish to see an add upon opening but not reading a message that turns out to be spam
I particularly dont wish to see an add in the process of reporting the afformentioned message.
Put an add on me for service not inconvenience.

Abuso de publicidad con sonido
Entiendo que haya anuncios. Pero invadir la pantalla con tanta publicidad una tras otra es un abuso. Y lo peor ahora con sonido que no puedes mutear y es muy molesto para la privacidad de los usuarios.

Stop the ads every 2 seconds
Can't even type the word hi without two ads popping up the ads in the profile section and banners are enough the pop up ads need to go. You a forcing people to leave and use other apps not the business model you should go by

This app is getting worse everytime
Restore the old version where no bugs and constant (like every single clic) pop up. It getting at the point where I won't even log because of it.
We just want an app that work, no glitches, no rebooting because it doesn't link to our location, and no more ads. Grindr used to be good like years ago, now it's all about how worse can it be from the last time.4 votes -
Ability to Archive chats without deleting them
To keep inbox clear but also not lose the history of conversations youve had with people its important to have a chat archive feature. Deleting defeats the purpose especially if you haven't chatted with someone for a while but wouldnt mind picking up again where you left the conversation.

Pop up ads are really annoying, especially since there are already ads within the grid. REMOVE THEM!
This is going to push people away from using the app. Ads within the grid and then pop ups right when you open the app, click on a profile, or are within a profile. This is excessive and to pay to remove pop ups or other ads is not worth it.

Instagram verification feature gone?
The Instagram verified handles and photos that were introduced earlier in 2024 is gone, and there is no updated information regarding this? Have you pulled back the feature?
This was a much needed feature to prevent catfishing which is way too prevalent on this app.

Messages Sent to Wrong Recipients via Notifications
When I try to send a message to a specific user from the notifications, the message gets sent to all users who recently sent me a message and appear in the notifications.
In other words, if I want to reply to a specific person from the notifications and someone else messages me, the message gets sent to the other person instead of the intended recipient.

Ads Frequency
The frequency with which ads are triggered seems to have massively increased of late. Now simply looking at a profile triggers an ad - as the profile opens, before viewing, not as it closes. This is in addition to triggering when opening chat. And ads with excessive sound volume have returned. The increased frequency is making the app virtually unusable. While you may need ad revenue to subsidise free use, making the entry level experience intolerable will probably lose you users rather than gain subscribers.

I don't want to spend time chatting with people who, end up, ask for money to have fun. there are sites specifically for looking for clients, this shouldn't be one of them

Add the option to toggle off the read receipt
Add the option to turn Read receipt on and off. I don't want to know if someone read my messages because each person has his timeline of responding, some people take half a day to respond after reading due to many reasons; however i take it personal that they have read and not responded, especially to my pics, and i lose my patience. I don't want to know if they've seen my messages or not. That way it'll be easier for me to makeup an excuse for them for not responding and fool myself that they will soon ... insteaf…

Perfiles más cercas y activos
Cada semana se paga la subscripcion y siempre es lo mismo perfiles no activos o perfiles que nadie ve la verdad es más difícil cada vez encontrar a alguien mucho más cuando te los manda muy lejos no veo el caso entonces de pagar por algo que no se te está otorgando, sería bueno checaran eso
