2. removing links / social media handles

   REMOVING links/and other things like connecting social medias only leads to spam users abusing grindr as a way to promote there business or lead users away from the app and into other suspicious links. If a user wants to share that information it should only be done via messages if the connection between two users is genuine. Instead of spam accounts creating accounts that arent ment for what the app is intended for and just creating a stream of billboards

3. Interest Age Range

   Like on tinder, you should be able to set the age range you’re interested in; there for only showing you’re account to that age range. This would stop older men taking advantage of younger men, also have age verification; profile user would have to send a photo of there ID to get there age verification which would add a blue tick or whatever symbol you want to said account.

12. Guys that only want to see your face pic without intention of meeting

    I think that Grindr should find a way of figuring out all those persons that are asking face pics without a single intention of meeting and that is just for malicious purposes such as intimidation, gossip in any event nothing good comes out of it. Since grindr can use AI to analyse the chat and see whether a uses is commonly doing this type of behaviour moreover they should be able to spot it. Moreover if they have pictures that genuinely do not look like its theirs. Moreover a lot of people i heard are pissed about this kind of behaviour a guy comes and is asking for face pic without having a single pic on their profile and if you see profile many people write that this makes them angry. I mean it will require extensive AI use but i am sure its solvable so the trolls should stop this kind of behaviour that is stressing people as Grindr is suppose to be an app where you go to have fun and the majority of people you encounter are those picture collectors. Additionally it would help to have a date of profile created and perhaps people that you met so can vote for you that you are an authentic profile.

15. Blocking Is A Safety Concern

    Changing Block to Hide and now making even Hiding a paid feature poses a considerable safety risk on a platform already plagued by bad faith actors.

    I have been sexually assaulted by a hookup in my hometown before and I know for a fact he makes new profiles. Now thanks to your changes if I were to identify a profile as his I would have to interact with him enough to get Hide to change to Block which in my experience so far is unreliable (in multiple cases I have been unable to block profiles with which I have had conversations).

    Additionally, I work in college education and have from time to time relied on Block to pre-emptively block students.

    Grindr doesn't care about user safety. If it did, safety wouldn't be a premium feature. Grindr cares about fleecing an endangered subculture for a quick buck while working to promote an image that it is the only option for community and connection especially in areas where that subculture is an even smaller, more endangered and targeted minority... Basically Grindr provides even its illusion of "safety" now only mid-mugging.

    PLEASE specially the search bar one! It helps to keep it organized and to fina specific person you have talked with before. And I miss the temporary feature of profiles with new recently uploaded pictures on top! It would encourage users to keep updating their profiles with recent and more accurate pictures.
