Account Verification?!?!
Anything will do... Photo verification (we pay a lot for grindr), an option to verify for a tick on your profile, forced broad location on profile (pointless since location can be mocked).
I'm tired of fake throw away accounts. People using grindr for a laugh, trolls mocking lgbtq+ users then delete account, pic collectors, entrapment.
Please do something about it. It's like telegram ffs

Album Sharing Method
Please work on new album sharing method. Only allows mutual album sharing. Meaning that the other party will able to see the album content if the other party also share their album. This is the ensure no bullying happens and to be fair for both parties.

Select all button to stop sharing your album.
There should be a “select all” button to stop sharing your album. Instead of having to click one by one to stop sharing your album. When you are sharing your album with 1,029 people, having to click each person one by one takes forever. It would be so much easier and faster to have a “select all” button to stop sharing your album.

Remove the "turn on notifications" pop up
This popup telling me I have notifications turned off and maybe I want to turn them on is annoying. Get rid of that, some of us don't want the distinctive alerts going off in public.

hide from an individual
I think there should be a setting where we can chose to hide our profile from certain individuals, i know therfe is incognito option but that is to be invisible to everyone, you get annoying individuals who do get obsessive and when they get banned they come back with a new account and it gets tiring repeating the reporting process, so how about a setting where we can chose to go incognito to just an individual and not to everyone as having a paranoid ex that ive had to have the police contacted countless times, when he has seen me…

Have an “Are you sure” option when sharing NSFW pics with someone who has “Never” on
There is a “Accepts NSFW” option on a profile, with “Alway” “Never” and “Not at First” as options but these are purely performative - nobody reads profiles or cares in the slightest.
Tinder has a feature where when you use an explicit word in a chat, it will ask “are you sure, this user may find this offensive” before you hit send.
Similarly, if a recipient has “Never” marked for NSFW pics, there should be a warning to someone sending that the person may not receive it well, or they may not get a response, etc. Or the pics should…

AGE VERIFICATION
It's no secret that there are unfortunately a lot of underage teens who easily access this app and either lie about being 18 or admit it and people still don't care. Age verification using a drivers license, ID, or passport is very important so that people can be sure that they aren't being tricked and so that minors can be protected and not be able to easily access the app. Also so that older people do not lie about being younger. Exclusion filtering
Right now it’s only possible to use filters to showcase profiles that have the selected criteria. But i’d like to see the option to not showcase certain profiles based on what they have on their profile. For instance, i’d want to filter away everyone who has “hookup” in their looking for, so that I can see profiles that arent hunting.

Fix app bugs
How about we stop putting out new features and focus on fixing the problems with the current features first. Also let’s try to prioritize responding to reports from users (both paid and free users) and not make them wait over a month for a response. One last suggestion is maybe it would be a good idea to test a feature to iron out the bugs before rolling it out to the masses.
