Adding More Local Business Promotions for Community Events
Hey Grindr team,
I love how Grindr connects people, but I think it would be great to have more features supporting local businesses and community events. Many LGBTQ+ gatherings, pride events, and social meetups involve food vendors and catering services, and having a way to highlight these businesses could be beneficial.
For example, I’ve come across some great custom food packaging solutions that make events more organized and eco-friendly. Here’s one I found useful: www.customfoodtrays.com/.
Would love to see a feature where local event organizers or businesses can share services directly within the app. Anyone else think this could…

Separate “Viewed me” and “taps”
Separate out “viewed me” and “taps”. I don’t care who’s viewed my profile, it’s annoying that the red notification appears every time someone views my profile. It’s be better if these notifications were separate so I can just view the one I want to see.

We have people that we put in Favourites. They could be far away and also for sometime when the chats are gone, we can still find them in Favourites. Now not only do we get limited for distance, we also have to pay for what we saved?

Get rid of ‘for you’ I don’t want to be suggested women on Grindr
The ‘for you’ feature is very poor, the point of Grindr is to find MEN in your LOCAL AREA, the explore searches are good, but I don’t need women or people miles away put at the top of my feed and suggested for me. You should be ashamed to be charging gay men so much money only to then homophobiclly shove women and trans in their faces. Disgrace.

don’t advertise on unlimited subscriptions
If I’m paying for unlimited I shouldn’t have advertising in my messages. 90% of my reasons that I pay for unlimited is to get rid of your insane ads. Intrusive or not, don’t advertise your unlimited subscriptions as ad free if there is going to be permanent advertisement bar at the top of the messages. This company is rapidly becoming part of the problem in this world

Foto no perfil do meu rosto e sou rejeitado, como assim? Essa acepção de pessoas, como funciona? Vocês escolhem quem vocês vão aprovar? Alegam que minha foto não é permitida, uma foto de rosto e com camisa. Vejo perfis com fotos ridículas onde mostram tudo e vocês aceitam. Acho ridículo. Por favor agreguen una verificacion de tecnologia de reconocimiento facial para validar las cuentas . Muchos robos de perfiles y uso de información sensible como fotos privadas etc..

Lower your price, and make a lower monthly amount that everyone can afford. You would increase your money , and have a higher number of members.

Stop ads for non subscribers
None subscribers can't use the app properly. I am thinking to delete my account, those ads are impacting the user experience with the app.

Area they are in
Any chance there could be a rough area of where they are? I live close to many towns especially ones that are across the sea. It would be better to have a rough idea of where they are so I don’t bother messaging them.
