Dump the foreign bots
It is increasingly useless to even use the app because each time I login within seconds I get 5+ bots or foreign accounts claiming close proximity.
I understand that it would be incredibly difficult to try and keep them in check but I offer up two simple solutions. Since VPNs make it hard to accurately track a user location I would first see if their ip address location changes drastically from time to time then make them first pass a ‘r u human’ test the next time they want to send a message. Hard to find contacts in Favorite nowadays
First of all the favorite search tab should be back, then can actually search the notes that you put on the contacts.
Secondly, people with the distance turned off is now all the way on the bottom of the favorite together mixed with the offline people and the people that deleted the app already.2 votes -

Remove the AI feature
Remove the AI feature as it appears to be creating fake/spam accounts and spamming users. I have been contacted by 4 accounts using AI generated images of females (clear they are AI) and this probably won't get through to support. I have screenshots of these accounts but there have been many more.

I was thinking about buying a subscription but with all your performance issues this doesn’t seem like a good idea.
You are so hooked up on having as many ads as possible and that seems to be the only thing left on Grindr which is working properly.

Keep up with the updates
Apple keeps coming out with beta updates and your app doesn’t seem to be working. You guys need to keep up with the beta updates to keep your app working smoothly because right now it’s not working at all.

No show, ghosting, time wasters
Please do something to help cut down on people who make a plan and don’t show up, don’t say anything and stop replying. When someone commits, they tie up your time, you stop looking, you get ready to host a guest, or you travel only to a fake address (very dangerous) or they just don’t answer on arrival. The only way to stop this in community is by the community calling it out. Even had a person I met 2x before tell me he was alone, invited me, and walked 7 blocks over only to watch him open his door…

Do not reset the filters
Is it possible that each time I open the app the filters stay as I set them? I am TIRED get back to the default settings and see profile I obviously have no intention to see because I have SET FILTERS.
Each update is really worse than the previous one and there is one once a week, it's like you collectively brainstorm about how to make this app more and and more unfriendly to use.

Spammers
Block Spam by introducing spam control measures! Spam bots don't register a in the viewed you tab. Silently introduce an anti spam feature where you cannot tap, message or do anything until you've spent atleast 5 seconds viewing their profile, or enough time that you would have atleast registered as 'viewed me' in the event they are 'incognito'. Additionally, introduce a feature where you can't tap or message a new profile within 60 seconds of tapping or within 3 minutes of messaging someone.

Dear Grindr Support Team,
I am writing to share some feedback about the user profiles I have encountered on Grindr.
I have noticed that there is a significant presence of transgender profiles on the app that, in my experience, feels too overwhelming for Grindr’s primary audience.
While I respect everyone’s right to use the platform, I personally feel that Grindr might better serve its primary audience by focusing more on gay, bisexual, and queer men. Perhaps a dedicated app or platform tailored specifically for transgender individuals could better meet their needs.

Error « The following is not allowed : tentative »
It’s been 2 years now that I can’t change the infos in my profil. Every time I try to save an error says « the following is not allowed : tentative ». I never wrote « tentative » in my profil and even if I delete everything, the message keep coming when I try to save.
Please help. I don’t want to be a liar on this app hahaha1 vote
