Message Counter in Inbox
When looking back at messages, it would be handy to have a Message Count, so I can see the people I exchanged only a few messages with vs. the people I've had nice long conversations with or message regularly.
Can we also sort by message count?

Muita gente está usando o aplicativo Grindr apenas para descobrir quem são os outros usuários gays. O aplicativo é muito falho no quesito autenticação de usuário. Block users out of personal age range from seeing accounts
I want to be able to block my own account from showing up for users out of my age range, for example if my max age is 25 then users 26 or older can't see my profile. This would stop all the creepy dms I get from old guys.

Spam messages
No one cares about the fake profiles with ads in the photos. Waste of time and my money if thats going to be a constant issue.

Translation
I am in spain right now. loads off fcc hot men, but hardly anyone speaks a word of english. could you develop a translate button to a language you could specify yourself? you could use google translate/deepl/leo to connect us better. what do you think?

Blocking
One touch blocking. Just how users can currently Force Touch to favourite, chat, or report directly from the grid. Enabling one touch blocking would be helpful and efficient, and avoid sending a “who viewed you” notification to the profile which could allow people to see that you’ve blocked them in real-time

Friend request
I have a friend who also uses grindr but the only way to “friend” each other is using explore and trying to find his profile. As of right now I can’t find him. I wish I could send him a link or a friend request via text or whatever to be able to find me on grindr.

Flakey Date System
This app is supposed to facilitate meeting somone....but the majority of the guys never show up. They are Flakes. et there be a heart or no-show icon button that others can click based on if the person flakes on their dates so others can see if the person is likely to show or not., And have that rating displayed on the profile picture. Boost Popup is Intrusive.
I get it. Boost is revenue for your company. But I am already s lying customer. Why do you pop it up when I'm in the middle of trying to type something and almost accidentally click it. If I wanted to boost then it should be in my settings and only display when I tap it. Now it just pops up at random times when I'm scrolling my grid and could cause unwanted taps. Pictures and Album Management
First, most of my pictures are just gray boxes that error when I try to send them and there are way too many to just go through one by one and delete them like that. Some type of management Interface is needed to smoothly manage the uploaded pictures perhaps some detection on pictures with locations that can't be resolved that show gray boxes and error.

Why would you make gender uncustomizable?
Taking away people’s ability to explain their gender as they see it is a step backwards. I don’t know why y’all would decide to make this a feature in our current climate. Only explanation I can see is because of the huge number of cis men who use the section to joke about non binary genders, which is understandable. However, those transphobic people should not be the reason that trans people have confines placed on their identities.
Also- the category I would put this in is User Experience but that’s not an option.
