   Have a category for straight men that are attracted to transforming to identify themselves as . The majority of Trans. Women are not gay and the men that like Transwoman are not gay either. Grindr may have gender pronouns but it does not support Transpeople by separating gender from sexual orientation. Grindr classifying Transwoman and the men who like them as gay only adds to the suppression and stereotypes that are placed on them by society. The majority of men attracted to Transwomen are discreet and closeted because they do not identify as gay nor do they want to wear the gay label. A large portion of trans attracted men themselves struggle with societal views that if they like Transwomen does that make them gay. Grindr only adds to that confusion. Men being closeted suppresses Transwoman, if straight men were allowed to identify as straight and not be considered gay, in their attraction towards Transwoman Grindr could help educate and uplift men to be secure and understand who they are which wouu you if lead to them coming out of the closet and the entire trans community would be uplifted and seen as their gender and not trapped under the gay male label or pigeonholed fir something they are not.

4. Profiles, ads, and pricing..

   So this is a multilayered list of things that really grind my gears, no pun intended. The amount of ads after viewing one of the 25 profiles available to the non-paying folk is outrageous. Really? Because we are not subscribing to your overpriced plans we get to only freely message around 25-30 guys in our immediate area? And then, when we do click on one of those profiles, we are immediately directed to a candy crush ad or ad for prep that lasts for 3 minutes if we don’t close the app and reopen it. I understand how ads work, but shouldn’t all have enough money in the bank to ease the ads on us “poor folk”? But if you must bombard us with ads, it still isn’t enough to convince me to “upgrade” to “Xtra” or “Unlimited”. Then you limit how many videos we can send? Limit us to only 1 expiring picture every 24 hours? Then we get to unlock 3 profiles for free on the explore page? Yippee. 🙄 Then if we think about upgrading, y’all charge $19.99 and $39.99 for Grindr Xtra and Grindr Unlimited, respectively. I would like to know how broke college dudes are expected to fit those prices into their budgets? I’m not one, but the fact that I have a full time job and still don’t think it’s worth upgrading should say something. Even during the pandemic y’all never let up on proving? And what’s with this “boost” your profile for $9.99? You expect us to pay $9.99 to boost our profile for 1 hour? Yes this is a rant. Check your ratings on the app stores. But I guess since the top .01% of rich gay dudes are subscribers, y’all don’t care with the other 99.99% of us have to say…

   Have an option to have couples displayed in your grid, or not displayed in your grid so for the single guys trying to find a date arnt swarmed with a bunch of guys just looking for a NSA engagement. 9. Cyberflashing/Harassment

   Cyberflashing is a serious problem of privacy violation and sexual harassment. Too many people sending nude photos without consent on this app. The category "Accept NSFW Pics" is useless.

   I think the definitive solution for this problem is that you can't receive photos if your category "Accept NSFW Pics" is "Never".
   And you can't send photos to someone who set this option to "Never".

   This is a critical function the community needs.

    I am from India, and many people are making fake accounts,sending nudes, blackmailing for money, fraudent.
    Also some people who work as sex workers are using the app for their earnings and we can't even take any desired action in police.
    This app should be used as to make new connections and bonding but people are using it in a very wrong way.

12. Schedule and or Geobased Incognito mode

    Look I’m a proud gay man, but if I accidentally open the app at work by accidentally hitting a notification (just happened 🤦🏻‍♂️), I don’t want to be hit up by my coworkers when they see I’m on the grid… 23 feet away. It would be nice if I could set up an incognito mode where between certain hours I’m offline or if i could just create a geo fence around my office that when I’m in that area I appear offline.

13. Difficulties with posting profile pictures

    App banner “some photos not allowed” not disappearing after photo in question has been deleted. Banner is stuck and I’m stuck with one profile picture because my profile won’t update. I keep getting “something went wrong” pop up. I might be forced to delete the app.

14. Mark an album as "Opened" (Xtra/Unlimited)

    The paid subscriptions already have the "read" mark for messages. However, the same notification doesn't work for the albums, because if the other user just see the album message on the chat (without effectively opening it) it also marks as "read". We should get an "opened" notification when the album is opened by the other user.

15. I was robbed on new years by a member on Grindr. When i used his face with a caption on thief you guys blocked me and took me off the site

    There is no way the cops r my self could find the guy after he blocked me. Not fair. I want justice and ur Grindr app allowed him to fall into the shadows to do it again.

    After an email has been hacked or compromised there is no way to select a new email address to back up your chats to and the application forces you to continue using the compromised account, this poses as a security risk for users and data integrity

    You tap a grindr button to send and also request a verifiable picture 4 picture.

    It will make people more confident and comfortable knowing who is on the other side. It will almost save you the humiliation of send out a picture only to be ignored and rejected.

    It will will give a chance to the people who are actually there with to use the app for what it is. Too many fake accounts and wondering if is a bot or someone who is just there to scam people
