2. Slow and limited . Berlin filter version is better. ( twink, twunk, hung...)

   Filter in Zürich by more types like : hair, eyes, cock size ( L, XL, XXL), Twink, Twink, hung....
   Just get more flexible like in Gay Romeo for example.

   Allow not displaying (exact) distance for everyone, but do NOT allow mock locations! While this option would benefit some. it would make using the app more DANGEROUS by allowing cheaters, fake accounts, gaybashers...
   If a real distance or location cannot be used, give the option from a locationlist through Grindr which CLEARLY marks that it is a 'FAKE' location!

    In my opinion Grindr needs a pro section. Like other apps this would be an extra feature. Those who don’t pay but still try to be “pro” are to be banned instead of those that pay for the xtra/unlimited therefor losing money. It would really be a win/win for both parties.

13. Its outrageously expensive and when you do pay parts of the app arnt working and finally this app use to be for gay men now its not.

    If you're going to charge such exorbitant prices 1. The app should work as advertised and not be full of glitches 2. The app should be for who it was designed for, GAY MEN, first of all require a face pic for every profile (if your too embarrassed to show who you are on a gay hookup site then maybe you shouldn't be here) it would also alert a person to trans people or women in general. I'm guessing that 40-50 percent of the people on this app identify other than gay or bi, there are dozens of apps designed for trans, swingers, gay curious, straight and many many others where these people need to go and give gay men their app back! Now for your prices I've been a grinder subscriber for about 15 years but the cost is just crazy for what you get at $500+/ year I want a bottle of wine, some poppers, condoms and some lube some sort of gift with purchase because I refuse to pay that much for an app for gay men that is maybe only 50% gay men on it to begin with then half of those people don't post a single picture or any profile info a person could be talking to a bored housewife in Pakistan with an anal fetish and not even know it for hours until she slips up and blows her true identity. It's also absolutely ridiculous to pay such a high fee and then not even get what your paying for. I've dropped my subscription and will no resubscribe untill some major changes are made. GET RID OF ALL THE WOMEN THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT A GAY MAN WANTS! even if they did they don't care which is obvious.

    I have recently droped down into you lowest tier while i wait for my statement to process and have realised the app it now just an attempt to get money from people.

    I do not get how if you want to send a message someone that you should have to sit through a completely irrelevant advert to be able to send the message. It might be borderline tolerable if it wasn't the same add for a game every time!

    You clearly do not care about your users unless they pay, for the app that barely works post your chat update that barely works.

    You should be ashamed of what you have turned an app that was a gay friendly space into, no wonder the feedback is so bad!

17. Open a Canadian office in Toronto, considered Chicago’s sister city. The LGBTQ life is very different & Canada often launches US products.

    Take equal marriage for example. There was a treaty between Canada and the US that said all marriages would be respected. So the US knew that Canada was the most likely to pass equal marriage first, so they focussed their efforts on getting it legal in Canada so that way it could be challenged in US courts based on the agreement with Canada. It worked and by the time the issue was challenged and reached the US Supreme Court, equal
    Marriage was made legal in spite of Bush’s Defence of Marriage Act (DOMA). There are many instances of this cross border advantage, including most Broadway productions, which launch for a year in Toronto before they ever open in New York so that the show can be tested in a similar market before it goes live on Broadway. And many more examples. Grindr needs to open a Toronto office. I used to work on contract for M4M4Sex in Toronto as the Canadian Country Director of sorts. I then moved to Ottawa to work on Parliament Hill for various elected leaders, but prior to leaving, I made particular note of the apps that were thinking by having a US market, they sufficed regarding Canada.

    Grindr should have its own look and feel for Canada in small ways, and should also focus on the French market, as well as including Canadian information in the profile options. The Canadian Government is not kind to apps that don’t do these things, and it will only get worse when the next Conservative Government is elected. You need to hire someone as a Toronto-based Country Director (not Ottawa, you won’t have enough legislative work to warrant it and it’s a quick 45 minute flight from Toronto anyway), and you need to have a plan to harness the many opportunities that Canada’s pro LGBTQ climate, who should work with whomever you hire for your Government Relations position in Washington. In actual reality, you could probably split a role like that where your US Government Relations person is actually Canadian, because it is often a lot easier to lobby the US when someone is from Canada, because our lobbies are not viewed the same way as all of the American lobbiests. Someone who works part time in Toronto and part time in Washington would make tremendous sense. I’m almost wanting to apply for the position myself as I think about it so I highly encourage Grindr to consider what I’ve said. And please do let me know if you do something like this, I may just consider applying.

    Grindr should also venture into a small production company (film and online video) and it should be in Toronto, as Canadian film credits are much more lucrative than filming in LA. There are many reasons Grindr would benefit from starting its own production company especially in Canada, but we can save that for another time. Best of luck, keep in touch!
