  2. Remove New Taps Notification

    Remove the new TAPS notification sound. I changee the tone for privacy purposes. And you allow a ridiculous sound to notify via TAP. I have tried to change the sound, but it wont change. Allow us to select the notification tone.

    Saved phrases are not prepopulating when I’m typing like they used to. I have to scroll through all my saved phrases rather than just typing the first few letters/words and having the suggestion pop up. This is extremely annoying!

  11. The new "grunt" sound overrides custom sounds - fix this

    Please make all sounds customizable.

    I used to be able to customize notification sounds in Android. Now the "grunt" sound won't allow itself to be overridden.

    It's creepy for a human-like sound to come out of my phone randomly, and it'd be even creepier to hear it coming out of someone else's phone.

    Fix your shit plz. I dislike having to turn off all notifications but it's not a realistic option to keep this sound on.

    The divide between grindr not working well and sniffies just working is growing and growing...even reddit is better for hookups at this point.

  14. Turn Off Grunt as default!

    Keep grunt off as default. There were several times this went off & I thought my phone was hacked. It was alarming. Keep usual tap sound not grunt. This grunt will definitely cause issues with privacy & anyone trying to be discrete. Not ideal for ppl in the closet.

  15. Notification Settings Reminders

    I, and I'm sure many others, leave Grindr notifications turned off on purpose.
    Partially because I find them annoying, and partially to avoid weird notifications popping up at inopportune times.
    The constant reminders that notifications are turned off and that I can change it in settings is kinda infuriating, I KNOW that they are turned off I turned them off! Please just disable these reminders or stop them after a couple reminders, it adds another intrusive layer on top of the ads (which I understand and am not complaining about) for not a lot of reason

    I don’t know what Product Owner/Manager thought this stupid grunting noise up but they should be fired immediately. It’s just not needed. How about you fix it so when someone taps you, you get a damn tap noise again not this stupid garbage that you say you can shutoff but I only see a choice for all sound and I don’t want to shut off all sound.
