   Please add a filter option that allows users to show only profiles that have face photos with the “Taken by Grindr” watermark. This would make it easier to avoid potential catfish accounts, improve trust, and help users quickly find profiles with verified in-app photos.

7. Proposal for Multilingual HIV & PrEP Health Resources for Grindr Users in Morocco

   Dear Grindr Team,
   I hope you are doing well.
   I am writing to propose an initiative that could meaningfully improve access to sexual health information for Grindr users in Morocco, in line with the health and safety resources already available to users in the United States.
   Specifically, I suggest creating an official informational profile or in-app resource hub for Morocco that provides clear, evidence-based information on HIV, PrEP, STI prevention, testing, and treatment. A key element of this initiative would be ensuring that the content itself is available in three languages, Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic), French, and English, to maximize accessibility for users across the country.
   In Morocco, there are well-established and credible organizations such as the Association de Lutte Contre le Sida (ALCS), among others, which offer HIV testing, counseling, medical follow-up, and up-to-date information on prevention, including PrEP and modern treatments, as well as free prevention tools (e.g., condoms and lubricants). Highlighting verified local resources would help ensure accuracy, trust, and cultural relevance for users.
   Such a resource could:
   Normalize conversations around HIV, PrEP, and sexual health without stigma
   Help users understand that effective prevention and treatment options are available today
   Encourage testing and early treatment through trusted local channels
   Reflect Grindr’s existing public health efforts in the U.S., adapted to a local context
   Providing this information in multiple languages is particularly important in Morocco, where users may have different linguistic backgrounds but share the same need for clear, reassuring, and empowering health messaging.

Everything happens very fast here, people meet and go out with others they don’t really know, encounters happen at homes, parties, on the streets, at events, and many times this involves real risk. Something practical, like an in-app emergency button, location sharing when going to meet someone, the option for check-ins before and after the meeting, behavior risk alerts, a secure meeting history, a trusted profile badge, and a stronger system against scams and fake profiles. Having the option for check-ins before or after a meeting adds real quality to the app and real safety for users, creating a layer of care and protection without harming the experience. It’s not about controlling people, it’s about giving users more security and peace of mind.     queria deixar uma sugestão pro app que acho muito necessária pra realidade do Brasil: o Modo Segurança Brasil. Aqui tudo acontece muito rápido, as pessoas se conhecem e se encontram sem referência, rola encontro em casa, em festa, na rua, em evento, e muitas vezes isso envolve risco real. Falta uma ferramenta simples dentro do próprio Grindr que ajude de verdade na proteção do usuário. Algo prático, tipo botão de emergência, compartilhamento de localização quando a pessoa vai se encontrar com alguém, opção de check-in antes e depois do encontro, alertas de comportamento suspeito, histórico seguro, selo de perfil confiável e um sistema mais forte contra golpes e perfis falsos. Ter a opção de um check-in antes ou depois traz mais qualidade pro aplicativo e mais segurança real pros usuários, criando uma camada de cuidado e proteção sem atrapalhar a experiência. Não é sobre controlar ninguém, é sobre dar mais segurança e tranquilidade pra quem usa. O Grindr já faz parte da vida social real das pessoas, não é só um app de encontros, então a segurança precisa fazer parte da experiência. Isso teria muito impacto no Brasil, aumentaria a confiança de quem usa e ainda fortaleceria a imagem da plataforma como uma marca que realmente se importa com as pessoas.

14. That a lot of these guys are fake. They don't have any intention other than collect photos and they are very disrespectful. They're ghosts

    Make it so that when someone blocks another person all of the chats and photos that was sent to the person blocking the other party are all deleted on his side of it. Also, make it that no one can take snapshots...or at least notify the other person that someone has made snapshots of his photos.
