No face no chat
Too many users hide their faces, which makes the app feel anonymous and unsafe.
This anonymity inevitably undermines trust, accountability, and meaningful interaction, ultimately harming Grindr’s interests.
Requiring a clear face photo would improve safety and overall user experience.
Platform design should balance privacy with accountability, and making face photos mandatory would be a reasonable and responsible approach for Grindr.1 vote -

Good day, I was catching up on some digital news lately and noticed someone mention this site in a comment section. It sounded like an honest note from an everyday user, so I gave it a shot out of curiosity. I spent a little while on gg bet and liked the professional look and how easy it was to navigate. I took my time looking through the pages and didn't feel pushed or overwhelmed. I finished the visit feeling fairly impressed with the overall quality and stability.

I think when you have to pay to be able to chat with a certain profile that you find that the payments should go to that person le profile instead to Grindr , I mean there is surely enough money to go around and some of us high profile acccounts gets messaged from hundreds of different profiles a day expecting nudes photos from us I know I can be the only one. ( hopefully this makes sense I have trouble putting my ideas and what I think into words and I suck at writing so bate w me lol thanks!!…

Profile verification but without the need to post your personal picture on profile. Getting rid of the bots.
Using an outside source getting profile verification without having your face on your profile. Allows for anonymity while eliminating profiles that are bots.

It appears the business plan is to simply harass your user base to pay for service, not the ethical way and certainly not efficient. For every sub gained you have lost many more who have succumbed to the insanity of waiting for then clicking close x boxes on adverts. Some up to 4 or 5 clicks per ad.
Converting sane horny would be customers to insane horny and very frustrated wrecks surely isn’t an award winning, profit maximising strategy. The tactic of let’s pee people off so much that they pay us for the privilege of not seeing ads is…

Lots of profiles pushing other websites to join. They look like regular profiles and then send you a .com website.
Ad a feature that really block this ghost profiles better than the ones already are on it.

All nonpic profilers should be given and confined to their w own category cuz they are already hiding from something.i had 22 no pic profilers last night and they all ghosted me.this isn't just occasional,this is now the norm.no pic profilers are ruining this app at an alarming rate.they act w-o any compass and make our experiences into a giant disgusting ordeal.this shit only gets worse.strap lead weights to their limbs and toss em in the lake
