Bots
Seeing as I use the free version of the app, the over use of chat bots, that are either trans, women, or further away than my immediate vicinity, has made the grinder experience pointless. The app was initially designed to meet local gay men and that has become nearly impossible when the limited amount of profiles I'm permitted to interact with are majorally ai bots. To top it off when I attempt to block them to free up space in my grid for real users, they're immediately replaced by more bots

Visible profiles of 600 reduced to 300 in Xtra
When I initially subscribed to Grindr XTRA, one of the key features was the ability to view up to 600 profiles in my area. I have recently noticed that this number has been quietly reduced to 300, while the subscription price has remained unchanged.
I find it very disappointing that such a significant reduction in functionality was made without informing existing subscribers. This change significantly impacts the value of the subscription I originally agreed to.
I kindly request that the original feature — access to 600 nearby profiles — be reinstated for existing XTRA subscribers. I believe this would be…8 votes -
Trans bots/toggle for trans/gay
There should be separation between straight men who are after trans individuals strictly, and gay men after gay men. On top of that, you have a massive problem with trans women bots. They’re not real people, they are scattered all over the grid. It’s obnoxious. This app gets worse and worse as the days progress, unfortunately.

Grindr Sold Out
Grindr made a huge mistake by selling ads to this company that makes all these TS and “my big 10 in” profile taps. Have they done anything about it? No, because they are making money while the users that pay money are overall annoyed. But why fix it if no revenue is being lost? I’ve wrote support several times, no response…there’s no response because there is not a fix. Grindr is making bank by the rise in app interactions, normally to make their app look better before selling…mark my words…watch….

Reevaluate AI moderation and entire moderation department
Unfortunately I am aware of the apps financial status and staffing issues and AI moderation is a way to save $. But please publish the accuracy specs of your moderation platform. At this point, since you changed the user agreement to not have to specify what violation occured who's to say the AI was correct when you have an overworked backlogged staff member handing your appeal who can just deny it without even really reading it Hell, even Facebook/Instagram has more oversight opportunities for users than this. Bots for additional income alongside your main job
I work full-time and have almost no time for charts, but I want to earn additional income from crypto without sitting at the terminal every day. I heard about Cryptorobotics signal bots — apparently, they trade themselves based on pro-team signals. Will there really be a stable profit in 2025-2026, or is this just marketing?

More visibility of free profiles 100
It's unfair that I only see 45 profiles for free, and I have to pay extra for more, and I only see people from neighboring countries whose language I don't understand, while others who live in the center of the country don't have to because they don't have these problems, by doing so you are violating my rights to the same experience and you should be sued!

Block is no longer available
The block option is no longer available and was replaced by the hide option. Blocking a user is an essential safety tool in Grindr that can protect us from violence and harassment. Disabling it put in risk the safety and privacy of Grindr users.

Stop allowing trans & trans seekers to take over gay spaces
Enough is enough already. Make a new app for them and migrate them over. This is not a place "for everybody", this is a gay space and it's annoying with all the limitations you bestowed upon us, it's vital for our grid not to be polluted. Same goes for other filters. You will never find your type on this app. Forget it. App does not recognize San Antonio
When in my profile, I have an option to select my City, which happens to be San Antonio. I selected use a button to confirm and it takes me and fits me in Austin. I think that needs to be addressed because I’m not in Austin. I want to San Antonio. I don’t wanna drive 74 miles and 5 miles to meet somebody.

Grinder should not do a id check scams and everything can go down it can get all bad identity theft waiting to happen it be all bad Grinder don't do it you won't be getting my photo id or drivers license number nothing its private information because identity theft it really scares me. Stop with the fucking adverts
Absolutely infuriating. This is more about money making than providing a service. You seem to care very little about user experience.
Too many adverts. Adverts are far too long. Adverts don’t allow you to get rid of them easily, the cross at the side doesn’t work and I have to click onto a fucking Temu advert. It feels like you don’t care about the type of advert either. Temu is a terrible company but you allow yourselves to be connected with crap, this doesn’t really put you in a good light.
