Keyword searches of profiles
Having a search bar where you could search any profile for keywords would be really useful. I find it hard to believe you don’t have that - the tags are the closest it comes and that’s really stupid. For $40 a month I should have this functionality.

Too many ads
Too many ads, too much. Less than a minute after you launch the app, ads are forced to appear. Or click one or two user information to display ads, and the ad time is still very long.
Now that there is a free version for people to use, the quality of the users should be maintained. Inserting ads is understandable, but not too many.
The paid price of the software has increased significantly compared to the past. When using the free version, the experience is already terrible, making people even less willing to pay.

Unable to determine my location
When I open the app browser tab black screen other than the center circle with 3 Grindr logo below it says
No profile matches this filter.
Change filters to see people here.

Ethnicity options, Latino for Hispanic
Latino is not the same as Hispanic.
Latinos should be Europeans who speak languages derivate from Latin.
People from Central, South American countries are Hispanic mostly.

More and more people are leaving this app because they keep on limiting features and limiting access more and more every day for free users. People
Are switching to sniffies and other free apps cause Grindr has got very greedy and is over charging for xtra. Not to mention the mental vibe of Grindr users is flakey and they possess unrealistic standards. It’s sad what has happened to this app.5 votes -

Hiding decreases grid size.
The Hiding option has decreased my grid size. Permanently? I can only see 12 people now because I've blocked all the blank profiles and profiles of users I'm not interested in. The only people left on my grid are bots or people who are far away and the app forces them on to my grid and I can't hide them. When I refresh the grid amount doesn't return to what it should be.
This is awful. I should be able to see a finite amount of people, bring back blocking or for hiding so that it doesn't decrease the grid…

Chat Search and Group Chats
Common Grindr it’s about time the option To search for chats are certain chats in particular via the name of keywords it’s about time this was brought back. It was a really handy feature especially if you didn’t favourite up in the chat. Bring Back Race Filter for Better Match Preferences

I really enjoy using the app and appreciate the platform you’ve created for people to connect. I wanted to suggest bringing back the race filter—not as a tool for exclusion, but as a way to better tailor searches to individual preferences.Personally, I’m particularly attracted to Black men and often find it difficult to connect with them in my area. While I do chat with and have made meaningful connections with people of all backgrounds, having the option to filter by race would make it easier to connect with those I’m most interested in romantically.

Grindr needs to be just for men seeking men
Grindr will not succeed as an all in one app for hook ups. It needs to be men for men only. That is how and why I can accept to pay the ridiculously high cost for subscriptions for features that used to be free or at least free in a lower tier subscription, but that’s a whole other topic for another time.
