1. Chats are taking forever to load

   Since a few months now, it takes forever to receive and send messages.
   I get a notification about a text, open the chat and wait for sometimes up to 60 seconds for the message to appear in the chat.

   I have noticed it to get worse the longer the chat gets.

   I have that issue on Android and just spoke to someone who has the same problem on an iPhone.

   so. you boys need help. your sustainable competitive advantage is anonymity. You need to build your app around the focus of anonymity. That is what your users are looking for that they can’t find anywhere else. Instead of some arcane code that blocks VPN use you should be looking for ways to make anonymity work for you. Your competition is trying to eliminate anonymity on their app.

8. Ongoing Issue with Escort Service Profiles on the App

   Recently, I have noticed a significant increase in profiles on the app promoting escort services in my city. Despite my efforts to report these profiles, I often find that within hours—or even minutes—the same users return to the app with new profiles to continue promoting these commercial activities.

   This is extremely frustrating and detracts from the user experience, not only for me but also for others who seek genuine interactions on the platform. I believe that bans for such cases should be permanent, but in practice, this does not seem to be the case, as the same individuals manage to create multiple consecutive profiles (second, third, fourth, and so on) with apparent ease.

   I would like to know how Grindr plans to address this issue, as reporting such profiles seems futile given their persistent recurrence. Is there a more effective measure that can be implemented to prevent this situation from continuing?

10. Fake Accounts

    The amount of fake accounts are so bad it’s to the point that i am about to delete my account for good. It’s making the app trash and I don’t even want to have conversations with anyone for fear that they’re just trying to get my pics.. There needs to be a verification process. You can literally create a new account with a email address that isn’t even a valid email and bam 💥 just like that you have a new account within 30 seconds.
    It needs to stop or you’re going to continue to lose people from the app.
    It seriously has turned into a trash app anymore and it’s sad. I’ve used Grindr since it came out and it’s worse now then ever with all the BS, the app creators are allowing.

    When looking at your favorites you often want to see who has been online recently and not just who is online at the moment, so I would suggest adding a feature allowing us to filter by last online categories.

    E.g. show only favorites who have been seen online in the last 30 minutes, 1 hour, 5 hours, 1 day, etc.
