closing blocked user profile
when looking at a users profile, I tap the block user icon at the top. I confirmed to block the user. There is an X on the top left of their profile. But it doesn’t work for me. It will not close the window. Instead, I need to swipe down. But that isn’t clear.
I think the X should work to close the user profile, or there should be a bar at the top of the page to indicate swiping down to close this window.2 votes -

There needs to be a Location and Visibility section on the app like there is on the website. Both should have the same.

Limit how many times your profile can be viewed.
The same people will look at a profile multiple times in a day. This gets irritating because they look at it again in a matter of minutes, especially when the profile goes against what they put in their profile. Going back and forth looking at the same profile, especially when they don't have a picture or it's blank.

I'm requesting that Grindr removes the option of 'Side' as a sexual preference. The term 'Side' is used to describe individuals who choose not to engage in sexual intercourse. I believe that including this term is counterintuitive and contradictory to sexual behavior. Compared to the sexual roles of top, bottom, and versatile, the inclusion of a role that abstains from sexual activity could potentially pose a threat to homosexual activity. Got banned
I am so worried about being banned to use your app as I had a bad experience that I got banned suddenly with a person. And I appealed for that case. However, I still lost my rights to use Grindr until I had a new phone. Also I lost my 7 month subscription fee. Your company seems very strict to it.
Anyway, I think the better idea to run your app is giving warning (one or two times) at least before the account is banned. Isn’t it fair for the clients to know the situation? At least give us the date…37 votes -

Please add "Southeast Asian" among the list of Ethnicities. We are neither "South Asian" and "Asian" mostly refers to "East Asian" descent which we are not.

Please bring back ethnicity feature. I live in a country where I am a minority and I get rejected on a daily basis by majority of the people due to my ethnicity. Despite of having a paid subscription, I don’t get to see people of my ethnicity.
