Change favourites back
The new favourites filter has made it difficult as the profiles are smaller and they are not arranged by distance either. I have to actively add them into my filter to find them now, which takes away viewing people in the area.
I prefer it the way it was with a separate tab down the bottom where you can easily find it. Far more user friendly as it was.356 votes -

HARASSING FAKE PROFILES
There's too many fake profiles. Everyday I am bombarded with taps and messages requesting I join their only fans. Please add more keywords to the block list. Like OF only fans website socials and .com

Ban trading sex for Only fans subscription.
ONLY fans traders ask people to subscribe for their external paid services (i.e. Only fans page) in exchange for sex or scheduling sex with them. The subscribers become victims of a fraud which start at Grindr. The dialogues containing any conditioning to sex in exchange for subscription or money should be equally banned as escort services. They ruin the community and waste a lot of time. You have to choose between sex and business unless Grindr is willing to be degraded to the level of prostitution hub.

Only fans, spam, filters, glitches
I subscribe to unlimited yet it’s getting harder and harder to find my type. Only fans and spams wanting me to go to sex websites are constantly in my messages and taps! People who I’m not interested in are tapping and messaging me. And the glitches in messaging and “online people” are ridiculous. Dating apps are suppose to filter what you are into yet Grindr wants to show u everyone. That’s not being inclusive at all! Profiles that say not into MEN! Then why are they on my grid! Allow the selection of multiple users to block/hide

Age filter
Earlier I could filter any age group in the age like 18-18, 21-23, but now if I want to set an age it is fixed at at gap of 6 like 26-31 and it doesn't go any lower like just 1/2/3/4/5 age gap. That's ridiculous. I am forced to see people of age I don't want to.

Right now feature
There is a map now inside the right now feature?! Why? Leaving it on the grid type or list worked fine. No reason the map needs to show my location or anyone else’s UNTIL both parties agree to meeting and they can swap locations as we have done before.

Remove audio greeting that force plays even in silent mode when you open the app
You are not allowed to force play a damn audio file when I open your app, with my phone on silent mode, announcing that I just opened Grindr to the whole room. Stop randomly placing people from 100+ miles away in my nearby feed.
It's EXTREMELY aggravating when you find some one to hook up with and you find out 20 minutes into the conversation and youre ready and wanting to meet up that they live in Canada 280 miles away from you.

Please have an option to remove anything Madonna from the app. This is so ridiculous. I am unlimited member and all I do is get ads. I don’t need it that’s why I paid. I understand you must pay her something for this, but Jesus too much. I’ve just downgraded.

Add face verification and blue tick for verified users to improve safety and reduce fake profiles.
Add mandatory face verification and a blue tick system for verified users to ensure authentic profiles, reduce fake and timepass accounts, and improve safety and trust on the platform. Currently, genuine users with real profile photos often still need to repeatedly prove their identity. With face verification, users can verify once and then get a visible “verified” label or blue tick on their profile, similar to Tinder, so their authenticity is clearly shown without repeated proof.

Madonna skin and notifications
Like the idea of skins like snap offers and a way to choose the notification instead of being bated out at a party or whatever ..i mean why can’t we change that sound whenever we want! but does Madonna know how pissed people are as grindr is so glitchy it’s tells you you have changed the icon every few minutes some times the skin works some times the notification works you really need to get a grip and stop using customers as beta testers.

Stop unwanted spam messages from transgender and only fans members
I would like to have a feature that can stop all messages from people over a specific distance from my current location. This would certainly help to limit the spam from transgender and only fans members that only message me for the purposes of subscribing to their page or advertise their services and content.
