2. Reciprocal blocks

   The current system of blocks is one way and open to abuse. When one user blocks another they are able to selectively unblock and then contact them, view them - and then block again. If someone blocks me, I want the option to block them back so they can't message me or see me.

   Another issue with blocks is it's possible to reverse them by uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

3. Prevent screenshotting

   I put my pics in an album for a reason. People are screenshotting my private pics by liking the photo, which shows up in the chat log then being able to open up the pic and screenshotting it. Fix this shit Grindr, it's not good enough.

   Discreet guys and down low guys should not have to post a face pic on their profile for privacy reasons I'm discreet and I don't show my face pic on my profile just because I have a homophobic family and I don't want someone in my family to see a profile pic of me on Grindr this is my private life there's a important reason why we don't show our face pics on our profiles and I will never have a profile face pic never never

7. Stop app cloning! Stop mock location and implement unlimited blocks

   Disgrace of an app.

   Firstly. Lets talk about everything the app allows, and the complete disregard to users safety!

   All this fake location shenanigans! Firstly. Please don’t pretend you don’t allow it. You disallow it for freshly made profiles, then after a week you are good to go! And allow people to move their profiles at will.

   Secondly! You again “Allow” the use of sandboxing! Where users are making multiple clones of the Grindr app itself, that not only allows users to make an unlimited amount of profiles (clones) that can run simultaneously and at any location they choose, but you refuse, and i say this with great emphasis - REFUSE point blank to give users the ability to block unlimited profiles. Even though the app is riddled with fakes and people impersonating others.

   Why an app like Grindr in 2023 has a block limit is beyond me. You get thousands of complaints a day, about stalkers, fake profiles, and repeated “rules breakers” yet, you do nothing! We as a community should be able to block as many people as we see fit. This is a serious safety concern that Grindr simply does not care about. You have people committing suicide, and struggling so profoundly with their mental health because of all of these factors and you simply do not care.

   And lastly. Why you cannot implement a simple verification process like “Tinder” does. That allows users to verify their profiles with a blue tick, at the very least, Is quite frankly a disgrace.

   The app is riddled with fake profiles. Jumping from one location to the next. Making multiple accounts, impersonating others and causing no end of misery to normal users like myself, who just want to feel safe in an environment and free of stalkers. Yet here we are in 2023. The app in the worst possible state it has ever been. And still we have a ridiculous limit on how many profiles we can block.

   •Block mock location!
   •Block app clone pro!
   •Allow unlimited blocks!

   And for the love of god. ADD A VERIFICATION PROCESS!

   We deserve better!

   Disgrace of an app.

    There needs to be more characters added to the about me section also a place to put your website in to the app because there is a section for music, but some people don’t have Spotify and some people wanna share their music just like Spotify but on the website, so please put a field for websites You can put a porno restriction on it if you want some people are not looking for hook ups they are just looking for love underneath it. All grinder should evolve to be more for love, or a section needs to be created for dating and a section needs to be created for different type of users, so that if they want to see a certain category such as men Tranny or any category for that matter should be split up in certain fields so that they have more of a filter to use your site

13. Distance control

    It’s ridiculous that the tenth person I’m shown is always 200 miles away. I’m in an area with plenty enough population that there should be plenty more choices which better match my preferences all within a reasonable distance (There’s no improvement when I’m in a different city or one with increased population either). I can’t believe there’s not another app that hasn’t already over taken Grindr. This is such a bad user experience.

14. Use driving/walking distance instead or straight line

    I think that the distance shown should be derived from walking or driving distance and not a straight line from point to point.

    This would help me out a lot. I live on the bank of a canyon. There are guys about 700 meters from me on the other side. But it's a 35 minute drive to get to them. And they fill my grid so that I don't see many other guys that are really only a 10 or 15 minute walk from me.

15. picture appears in chat outside of album

    i don’t think if i show someone my private album when they hit the like button they shouldnt appear anywhere other than in my private album. it’s private for a reason then people can snap pics and such of the pictures and it’s like your allowing them to save your private pictures ! it pisses me off every time you show someone your private pics then they go thru n like them all and they’re saved
    all up on their chat log for them to do with as they please ! it totally defeats the purpose of a private album

    Register my current account by Apple ID without password, but now that is a trouble that i changing my iPhone to android smartphone now that i wanted to use this account And chat history to continue my grindr journey with my new android phone .

    Warnings should be issued so they stop and people don’t feel bad about not interested forced replies or actual spam …. Comments review for problems to accurately catch the spam or fraud account.
