Everyone should be required to verify that they are who they say they are and the age they say they are before they can use the app. This is a dating/hookup app. Any dating/hookup app should have ID verification to make sure no one under 18 can use the app and potentially ruin someone's life. Verification would also keep people safe from people who lie about their age and lie about who they are to get with them. I'm surprised Grindr doesn't have any verification at all, which it really should. Only thing close to age verification is the date of birth input on account creation which is not enough since people can just lie about their age and put in a different date of birth from their own. This needs to happen to make using this app safer.

Sooooo... 20 year olds shouldn't be allowed to use grindr??? Saying a 20 year old isn't capable or mature enough to use a hookup app is just ridiculous. Yes, I know the legal age is 21 in some places, but I'm talking about the places where it's 18 to 20.
