  1. Allow filtering by hiv status to allow poz guys find other poz guys

    It would make such a huge difference to poz guys if you could let us find other poz guys. This won’t get many upvotes because it doesn’t affect most users but for those of us who are poz it would be a huge improvement to our lives to be able to find other poz guys, so please please implement this 🙏. Perhaps the filter can only be visible to guys who have their hiv status as poz on their profile if you’re worried about prejudiced people abusing the filter.     I like a type of man. I have the option to put my ethnicity into my profile. If the option is there to put in my profile, there should be a filter to search for that ethnicity. It’s simple. Bring it back please. I can’t find the type of guy I like without scrolling needlessly.

  4. Photo ID introduction / Subscription Prices / Reporting Accounts

    Photo ID Verification needs to be introduced due to fake or blank accounts on Grindr globally being used and created on a consistent basis.

    XTRA & Unlimited subscription prices need to be significantly reduced as the price of these subscriptions are not properly justified for the high cost.

    Profile Photos by now should be mandatory and cannot be removed to further prevent blank accounts, each photo must be assessed by Grindr to ensure that a face is in one's photo they upload to again prevent ones from using a random black or white photo which may not have a face…

  5. Ads with volume should not be turned on automatically

    I understand needing ads on this app but please turn off the auto ads that turn on with volume. Unable to mute and it’s is extremely annoying. Can’t use the damn app discreetly now.

    Mute all ads!

    I get it…free usage means ads. But that Evony ad echoes across the hills! I can’t always keep my sound off, and then my location is revealed to cock hounds in close range when I’m subtly checking my messages to confirm a railing appointment. The grunting men sound effects aren’t exactly subtle, either. Apply your commitment to discretion to your ads, and problem will be solved! …almost. Get rid of ads. But then capitalism fails, and then they start rounding up the gays.

  9. Stop with the overkill is advertising

    Come on guys like after every message I have to deal with adds when someone sends me a message I to deal with a damn add before responding to a message and it’s critical when trying to send someone a location or direction this has gotten to be overkill tone down the damn adds or lower the price for a membership

  10. Distance away, first people 12-16 miles away (hate it)

    Not sure if you all did the “distance” away (first people are 12-17 miles away) to try and mix up who is close by to you, but I absolutely hate it. Especially if they don’t have the distance feature on, I don’t know if they are close to me or many many miles away. I enjoy getting connected with people close to me, not far away, if I wanted that, I would search for people farther away. Please change this feature back, myself and a lot of people hate this. I really enjoyed Grindr over scruff, but because of this…

    Get rid of For You
    *for You, isn't making recommendations based on my usage of the app and the profiles I look at or communicate with.
    I'm fact, the *For You *    feature** is pushing profiles to me that appear to be exactly like the ones I block on a daily basis.
    More garbage features added before fixing long standing and new bugs.

    Stop being woke give us proper filters For your woke staff members have the option to fill in what they choose on their profile like they do now if they think they are being filtered out for some reason they just leave that thing blank in their profile If your company continues to try to be the woke police your base community will turn on you and move on to better. Sort yourselves out. You want to pander to the 1% of your client base be prepared for the backlash
