1. Make transport feature free and without time limit

   I live in a crappy rural town and can only really use Grindr on random days when I’m travelling. I’d love to use the new “transport” feature that lets you change your location but I’m not paying for it. If it was free and without that one-hour time limit, I’d probably just never use my actual location again. Me and many others would very much welcome this new feature if for free.

7. Eliminate the darkening at the bottom of the screen when viewing full screen photos.

   When viewing photos full screen, the bottom quarter of the screen darkens. It's annoying and serves no purpose.

8. Refuse to receive mssgs from faceless profiles

   Enough is enough. The constant messaging of faceless profiles should end if someone refuses to accept them. Writing on your profile NFNC does not help. This is a constant harrassment by anonymous profiles and Grindr should respect the privacy of users.

9. App not refreshing

   Fix your damn app. It’s been like this for a day or two. App is stuck on unable to refresh. Tried uninstalling, clearing cashe, switching networks. Now it’s on y’all to actually do something to fix the problem that’s making your app unusable

10. Wrong Translation - Body Types

    There are wrong translations of the body type.
    (Device language German)

    Average, Muscular, Slim and Large are correctly translated.
    However "toned" and "stocky" are not.

    If you set "stocky", Germans will see "dünn"
    But "dünn" means slim.
    The correct translation would be "stämmig".
    Therefore Germans have two "slims" in their settings, because "dünn" and "schlank" both mean "slim".
    "stocky" doesn't exist at all.

    If you set "toned" Germans will see "wohlgeformt".
    The correct translation would be "trainiert".
    "Wohlgeformt" does mean more like "belly" with men or with women "great butt or big titts"

    That's why Germans see you are slim when you set stocky and don't exactly understand what your body type is when you set toned.

    Easy solution:
    Change the translation for "stocky" from "dünn" into "stämmig".
    And change the translation for "toned" from "wohlgeformt" into "trainiert".

    There are wrong translations of the body type.

11. Modify the blocking and reporting feature

    Many times I get abusive messages from someone who instantly blocks me without any ability to report them or to block them.
    
    I cannot report abuse if they already blocked me. I also cannot mutually block them. So often they will unblock me and start the abusive messages without my ability to block them.

17. Time to crack down on “Gen”

    It is time for Grindr to crack down on people looking for money for sex. This is happening constantly. You report the profile and it is under moderation for days or nothing is done: Grindr does so little that people are even putting it on their profile. People get around with words like Gen and whatever else. Grindr moderation is pathetic. I don’t know who has designed their software/algorithms but it is pathetic. Moderation should be excellent and the app would function. Who is making all the money that they charge for premium service and they can’t even moderate this? Why are people able to continually make profiles? Why is this app so sketchy?

19. Knowing if a user is logged off

    Why does the green light stay on 10 minutes after the user logs off? Make it turn off immediately so we know not to message until we see the green light again. Sending a message to someone who might not see it for hours or days is dumb. Make it an active experience.
