Actual verification for every person making a profile
Anyone making a profile should be required to prove they are the person in the photos! The amount of fake profiles and catfishing is RIDICULOUS!! They should have to prove to Grindr they are real and then in turn Grindr should have a badge on their profile to confirm they are NOT a catfish!! Very simple to implement bc you guys do it for Motto why not here??

Photos getting approved
I'm just wondering how Grindr approves user's photo? Is it by AI or it's done manually by staff?
Sometimes the uploaded photos get processed very fast, the fastest I experienced before was within 2 mins or so. And now it's taking forever and sometimes it's taking so long that I have to delete it and use the photos that I already have in Grindr.
Is there a possibility you can expedite the process? With the pandemic coming to an end already and things should slowly back to normal?

Bring back circles
The “circles” chat rooms were great for feeling like part of a community, especially for people who live far from any scene. They weren’t perfect but I’d like to see Grindr attempt something like that again, on an opt-in basis.

when you Ban people for no reason, at least send them a reason.

Spam notifications
There are small things that help to tell if someone could be fake such as the "new user" label and the "sent from country" label (that is really inconsistent and doesn't stay their longer than one message, so if they send more than one before you open it it doesn't display?) We need more permanent popups to show at least the general area such as country of origin at all times, so many fake accounts don't get labelled correctly as foreign spam.
What's more it would be helpful if there was a comment section when you report spam, most accounts…

Wedding the Massage and Paid profiles
There are lot of profiles which are by professional massager, its annoying as it they take up my space and options or profiles being viewed. Please either have them categorized separately or we should have an option to filter such profiles.

New Category called ‘Wide’
New category called Wide: just a bit opposite of side, someone who doesn’t enjoy giving oral and is interested only in the real deal, which is fucking using condom/on prep. I know many people who are not interested in sucking just to get some dick. I feel it’s kinda derogatory when the top is not interested in satisfying the bottom mutually with oral sex (rimming). Also, lot of STD are transmitted through oral sex than anal if uses proper protection. This would category will really help many bottoms who are often looked down and called cock suckers.

If I left the group then the group chat gets disappeared but it shouldn't be.

Allowing LGBTQ Non-Profits to have Profiles
There is an amazing LGBTQ non-profit in my area which offers free, reliable STI testing and AIDS resources. They have had a Grindr profile on and off over the last year where they posted their phone number and logo. You could also chat with them to schedule appts and find resources. I scheduled my first appt with them through Grindr and had a great experience. However, they told me today while I was getting tested that their profile keeps getting removed because it violates some policy. Why would Grindr not want an organization which advocates and support a safer sex…

Show a user on the grid
Show a user on the grid, by clicking a button on their profile and in the chat. This would especially useful if the user does not display their distance.
