What if at the top of the page, whenever someone signed onto Grindr everyone in a 5k radius gets a notification

insert a short presentation video
the photos are not real, a short video allows you to clearly see the person, voice, manners and various aspects. You create a presentation video that is the same for all users.

Allow a one time New Account using the same
Allow a one time delete and re create a new account using the same phone number. Not asking for a second account just the opportunity to start over now that I understand how the community works.

Tenho uma idéia extraordinária para o app, uma atualização q permita o celular vibrar perto de outra pessoa q esteja usando o aplicativo, isso sem q os usuários abram o app, permitindo aos mesmos q percebam q tem gay bem aí lado deles!

Seeing who tapped you is now only for unlimited?
How infuriating. How can you make a feature that was always available to the community now something that has to be paid for? Taps have always been an easy way for people to let you k ow who’s interested in talking without having a whole bunch of conversations popping up and filling up your list, taking away from conversations you’ve already started.
Just another ploy to make more money by driving people to your most expensive tier. Because you know it’s not working as it too expensive.8 votes -

'Last tested' date without sexual health status
I'd like to be able to set a "last tested" date without having to specify a sexual health status; at the moment it resets to unset if you try.
The reason is that my status is "Positive; undetectable". I don't want to lie by selecting anything else, but I don't want people to instantly discard me as soon as they see the "positive" bit. Having just a (recent) date, though, would signal someone who's up-to-date of his status.
Also, having it reset when unset means you can't use the test reminder system if you do not wish to disclose your…18 votes -

Grindr is now publicly traded and regulated by the SEC. All of the illegal activity on the app now is a federal crime as the FEC forbids its regulated entities from engaging in or allowing illegal activity. Within its corporate borders. Remember when this app was fun
I remember when grindr used to be a great place for gay or curious men to come and hang out, arrange dates, hookups etc. Now it's like everything else, a horrible place filled with man hating women, trans and cis, extremely long ads and you got to pay to see profiles, but the ones all online are always the ones out of reach before you are met with the big pay extra sign so all you see are offline profiles. Add a "Later" Feature
Add a "later" option for those of us who are looking to hook up, but not looking to drop everything we're doing that minute. For example, I might want to meet after work. Or some time over the weekend. Right Now implies looking right this instant.

Selective unit system suggestion
An update that let's you set certain things like distance, height and weight to different measurement units. In Canada, we use metric for distance but imperial for people. So Canadian users have to always convert values one way or another.
