Please change from using this highly outdated language to something which is trans-inclusive and will make us trans folk will more welcome and understood on this app/in this community

Find a better app
Grindr just admitted to me that blocking all the fakes and professional profiles is absolutely useless,as they will reappear and it's designed that way. What are we doing here? It's time for someone to build an app that we deserve.

Unlimited too expensive now
"Photo Disappearing" function under the unlimited section is too expensive. This is a super way to protect privacy but it is too expensive now. If someone subscribes for a year at a time, can the price be less expensive like 100 dollars? If so, there will be more subscribers and grindr can make more money to operate well.

Zero Knowledge Encryption?
It appears that Grindr is transitioning to server side cloud storage of message content however there hasn't been any clarification in the privacy policy of how this data will be protected. Given the highly intimate nature of Grindr interactions and the historical marginalization and criminalization of the homosexual community, it’s existential to the Grindr business model that identity and message content can only be accessed by the 2 intended parties. Otherwise lack of trust and confidence will eventually cause cancellations. This seemingly was not an issue earlier, when messages were end-to-end encrypted and stored on device.

Evidence towards a ban
There should be sufficient evidence to support a full on ban against any user being reported before their device becomes "blacklisted". The support team is then unreliable and inefficient in helping a user truly resolve an unjust ban leaving the person the only option of getting a new device only to possibly end up reported again by the same childish complainer. There should be reprimandable consequences for those who falsely report others without sufficient evidence for the claim.

Make Web version available to all for free.
Some of us live in dangerous areas and/or in the closet.
We cannot DOWNLOAD the APP on our PHONES and risk getting caught; THEREFORE make the WEB VERSION available to all for free.

O Grindr no Brasil tem cada vez se tornando mais monótono, as pessoas nao estão nem tem muito motivo para ter interação uns com os outros. Por isso, tendo em mente que o Grinder é uma rede social, pensei que seria de boa procedência se tivesse a opção de adicionar "story's" ao perfil para que as pessoas podessem postar coisas do seu cotidiano, do seu dia a dia. Ajudaria muito na evolução e melhora do aplicativo! Espero que considerem meu feedback. Obrigado!
