Permanent Bans
It is none other than draconian to simply permanently ban people without even issuing a reason for the ban (which does not have to involve specifics or reveal the identity of the person who reported the user). Common sense implies that people can not strive to correct their behavior if they are not even aware of what they did wrong. Furthermore, if in an appeal a user at least has the maturity to admit what they did wrong, that should be taken into consideration. There is no reason whatsoever to permanently ban a user who has used the app successfully…

that my messages doesn't get sent and I dont receive messages
I have messages that doesn't get delivered or reach the other guys, and the other way around. In an app where the general communication skills are fairly scarce as it is, this is a huge problem, and often ends up in blocking, because I/they seem rude at best.
Also I experience quite often, that people I have blocked shows up in the app, less that 1 minute after I have blocked them. I understand that people sometimes delete the app, and create a new profile, but not in 30-60 seconds. Are these issues something that you can help me with?8 votes -

people i’m not interested in messaging me
II have my preferences set to the age and distance i’m comfortable with, but people outside of those perimeters can still see me. it would be a good idea to add a ‘only people in my preferences can see me’

Fix distance it is saying we're closer than we really are they go to send there location and they're further according to Google maps fix it
Fix distance it is saying we're closer than we really are they send out the location and Google maps says they are like 20 miles further and then what grinder says we don't want to drive that far and it ends up just being a waste of time it needs to be fixed ASAP should match what Google maps says

A "face pic?" tap option
When someone without a facepic sends a zero effort tap I'd like to be able to ask for a face pic with zero effort and just tap "face pic?"

Bring back the ability to write your own custom pronouns.
By removing the ability to write your own custom pronouns you are taking away the individuality and ability to freely express one's self. You are limiting everyone and forcing them to have to conform to the small list of ideas that you say they must fit into. After looking through the new "pronoun list", I do not find myself fitting into your prescribed ideals of who I am supposed to be. Please bring back the ability to write your own personal pronouns and stop trying to make everyone fit into some preidealized notion of who we all should be.

Biggest pain point on app right now is that I cannot upload and share videos through chat.
My idea, is that videos should be able to be shared within chat. Not just ones that you record in the Grindr application but also others that are in or on your phone for example.
This allows participants the ability to be more intimate with each other and allows LGBTQ artist to show their work. It also helps covey various ideas and is therefore good for communication.9 votes -
message widget covers images
that "say something" and "answer now" text input widgets are always covering the lower part of the image I'm viewing, I cannot hide it. Please let me swipe them away or hide them at all.

There should be an option to have messages sent to an email, with the option of replying to the email to send a message back.
