  4. All users need profile photos of their face

    Dating or finding a hookup on Grindr is sometimes challenging. There are a good majority of people who don't have a profile photo of their face or even a blank profile. I understand people want privacy but this is a safety hazard and it also impossible to tell who is catfishing or sending photos that aren't theirs. I've met with men who don't have profile photos but send it via chat and when we met in person it wasn't the same person I saw in photos.   5. Notification times

    Create the ability to set times when notifications are on and when they are off. This way the app can turn off its notifications when you’re at work, for example, and then they turn back on when you’re off work and on your own.

  6. Fake profiles and frauds. And one of the most important thing that is after giving subscriptions, I don’t get any benefits.

    I took subscription yesterday. But it is not giving me benfits which the app commits to give the benefits. It is totally a wastage of money.

  7. Use driving/walking distance instead or straight line

    I think that the distance shown should be derived from walking or driving distance and not a straight line from point to point.

    This would help me out a lot. I live on the bank of a canyon. There are guys about 700 meters from me on the other side. But it's a 35 minute drive to get to them. And they fill my grid so that I don't see many other guys that are really only a 10 or 15 minute walk from me.

  8. Filter people by their interests

    Additional tags for what you like and/or don't like. That way you could filter out all the people who aren't interested in your body type instead of having the same conversation over and over.

  10. Stop degrading the service for free (and XTRA) users

    I appreciate that you need to make money to fund the app, but you also state that "ads keep the app free" whilst degrading the service constantly for free users. This is a big problem for paying subscribers, as new, free users stop using the app and the paying users just see the same faces over and over again.

    Over the past few months, you've added the "boost" feature, which takes up space with users (mainly rent) who are outside the local area. You then reduced the number of "fresh" guys that we can see. You then reduced the total…

    An option to clear chats that are older than a certain age (eg 3 months, 6moths etc.) Also being able to delete chats from deleted profiles. storing so many old chats on my phone requires a decent amount of storage and it's a hassle to delete chats individually.

  12. The update you did sucks when I'm scrolling and I click on a profile and I click back to look at more it scrolls me all the way back to the

    When you click on a profile to view it and you click back into the main list it's now scrolling you back all the way to the top without you touching saying whatever happened to make that happen needs to be undone it's very annoying

    Poderiam adicionar na categoria de posições a palavra “ passiva “ pois só tem os tradicionais passivo ativo etc ….

    Podría existir una herramienta que permita visualizar solo la categoría de interés seleccionada, considerando que grindr permite la venta de drogas y la inclusión de mujeres.

    Hombres - mujeres y/o trans - drogas

    (Aunque lo ideal sería considerar sólo las dos primeras categorías propuestas, y mejorar el filtro eliminando a quienes venden o compran drogas).

    Al menos la mitad de los perfiles no es de mi interés considerando que solo busco conocer hombres y no mujeres o drogas.

    Sempre proseguendo col mio discorso farei questa politica di prezzi 1 mese € 5,99 3 mesi 15,99 6 mesi 29,99 12 mesi 49,99. Credo che il numero di abbonamenti avrebbe un exploit. Potete anche solo fare una prova per circa due mesi per vedere se abbassando i costi aumenterebbero anche gli abbonati.. In questo modo potete trovare un giusto compromesso tra fatturato e soddisfazione del cliente. Grazie

  16. Sexual partners STD tracking and notification.

    A voluntary system encourages you to record your sexual partners within grindr. Maybe when you meet up you scan a QR code, that then logs that those two users have had contact, in the event that one of those users contracts an STD they can click a button that notifies the other user/s they have tested positive. Because honestly trying to remember every guy you slept with with and find them on Grindr again to let the know isn't easy. This also alleviates the need for those awkward conversations.     So how come you are so strict on drug use ect but you allow financial domination ect. This behaviour is clearly abusive yet you allow it to be continue. Another example of the hypocrisy of this app.

  18. You guy's need to stop with paying membership having to pay extra for bost to get accurate GPS

    Number one is you you charge a lot per month GPS is always off I mean I'm in a very gay neighbor area from Miami to Fort Lauderdale there's no reason why people should be listed 500 and 600 Mi away from me and then I have to pay for Boost to get accuracy

    O APP não permite mais que quando recebos visita... não podemos ver quem visitou porque tem que pagar, absurdo pq em outros app você fica a vontade de ver quem visitou o seu perfil.... o APP fica dando erro ao enviar msg .... tem que arrumar isso urgente assim não dá...
