Fix the Delete Message Button
The delete button message doesn’t actually delete any messages, as when I refresh my message section the chats I deleted show up again!

Advertising
All the ads annoy me meanwhile. It is toooooo much! Make a page named "support grindr" to watch advertising. I would sometimes click on it to watch ads, but now after every message when i change the chat, a new (or allways the same) advertising stresses me! Grindr is not funny anymore!!!

Unusable app!!!!!
This app is absolutely horrendous. I can't believe I'm paying $40 a month for the unlimited version because that's the only one I prefer to use. Messages take forever to send sometimes, the red receipts don't work properly it will show that a message has been read and then turn back to delivered. Countless other bugs. I can't name them all. It is absolutely infuriating. This is the worst I have ever seen the app. It just keeps getting worse and worse. For $40 a month you should have an app with absolutely no bugs and proactively work to repair…

Introduce Ethicity/Race filter again!
Sometimes I’m in the mood for oranges sometimes I’m in the mood for grapefruit. Sometimes I don’t care but it’d be nice to have an option to filter out grapefruit if I want oranges as a personal preference. Otherwise I have to go through all oranges trying to find a grapefruit. If someone doesn’t like this filter they don’t have to use it.

fake profiles sending messages; and probably harming real API guys in the process
Four of the last 20 messages I've received (20%) are from profiles that clearly belong to people who are running scams. The pattern is consistent. Usually the person is much farther away than other profiles (i.e., 4 miles, compared to 1-2), most commonly the profile photo is of someone of Asian descent, and the opening line is always something like "what are you looking for on here?" (which would be clear if they read my profile). No matter what you respond with, you get a message back that says something like "I'm looking for friends and a deep relationship with…

Unblocking profile view
When unblocking, especially a blank profile pic, it would be nice to be able to view the profile to make sure you are unblocking the right one.

Where is Chat Backup feature and other problems
So this app has been out for a decade+. And it’s the only app out there that has literally gotten so much bugs, glitches and just overall plan out shitty.
