Make grindr gay again!!!!!!
There should be Grindr for gay men only and separate Grindr for straight men looking for trans and trans only. It's not fair to see all these straight men only looking for ts, cd, female. They have other apps for that. Take this feedback along with the others on here and make Grindr GAY again

Non permanent bans
The first ban should only be for a week, and get longer each time, since grindr doesn't give a warning before a ban

I was charged 3 times for membership and i wasnt aware of any difference in services. Google pay made this possible. I would want to know
Notify when a purchase begins and ends. Also, maybe a short explanation in laymens terms.

Notifications are always delayed on Android.
I'm using Grindr on Android. For as long as I can remember, notifications are delayed by 5 minutes or more unless app is in the foreground with the screen on. It has become even more obvious now that I also have Grindr installed on my iPad. I will receive a Grindr notification on my iPad when the message is received, but no notification on my phone. If I then turn my Android screen on, I suddenly receive the notification, but if I don't turn my screen on, the notification is delayed by 5 minutes or more. Message notifications from other…

Revert New Activity Tab Layout
The new format has tabs for the "main page", "activity" (which is just taps and views), and then "chats" in that order. The most useful features in the app are the main page with user profiles, and chats.
Activity is just incredibly noisy. Taps were already a nuisance in the app that many people tried disabling. In order to even do anything with a tap, you still need to chat with the person. Unfortunately you've moved this in between the two core features of the app, and there's now a permanent red notification icon there since in the city someone…

Grid shows people over 100 miles from my location but shows them close. I’ve done everything to fix it

Blank profiles are a huge problem
Blank profiles sending messages has to be stopped. It creates a horrible user experience for paying customers. Prompt these users letting them know they cannot message without a face picture period.

Are you trying to pair me with an advertiser or a hot guy?
This app used to be a place to meet hot guys, guys that have been a big part of my life. But now, it feels like the app is more interested in selling me ads and pairing me with a corporate sponsor. Sad to see and seems even harder to use. If feels like if I don’t pay for the app you intentionally make users profiles glitch every time I move around my city. That management is allowing advertisers to totally take over my phone and render it unusable for 3 to 5 minutes until their ad is played!

Can’t see taps older than 3 hours
The new update requires that I be an XTRA member to see taps that are older than 3 hours, but that’s really inconvenient. What if I get a tap after I fall asleep and then wake up and can’t see it? Or what if I don’t check my app for a few hours?
I’m absolutely not paying for XTRA so all this does is piss me off and make me prefer Scruff even more.

Bring back the auto-refresh!
I have seen alot of people here wanting to get rid of it, or maybe it's been "Completed" already, but as a minority, please bring it back!
It was the intended behavior of the app that I used to know. Now it feels broken.The thumbnails/Nearby profiles do not refresh whenever I do it manually (swipe down gesture) many times! I have to open another Maps/Google Maps app and re-center my location there, then go back to Grindr in order for the refresh of the profiles to take effect. This is time-consuming and inconvenient!
