Two set of tags
Two sets of tags so people can have the tags they are looking for and the tags that describe them that way when you look up a tag you find those kind of people not people looking for those kind of people like for example if I look up the tag ftm I should find people who are ftm not guys looking for ftm if that makes sense

Chats backup
I have been using same grindr xtra account from last six months on android mobile, and recently switched to iOS device and got to know that there is no way to restore chats across platforms. This is really frustrating. Atleast paid users should have this facility to restore chats across platforms. And how to do is to be figure out by you guys. Talk to both platform owners, take approvals, design the system but this facility should be available everywhere. Ace/Aro Tribes and Tags
Ace (asexual) and aro (aromantic) should be added to tribes and tags. This will enable ace spectrum and aro spectrum people to share their identities. Many gay/bi/pan people also identify as ace/demisexual/gray ace and it's an important part of our identity.

I think there's Should be a new identifier added to the profile with a kink/fetish such as ABDL , I'm personally a member of that community and I think it should be added , and now with recon adding one to there app I think Grindr should do the same

Restore Bigger Character Limit to Profile Text
Somewhere around 2016 and update to the app came out that reduced the number of characters users could have in their profiles. I remember distinctly not updating my profile because it would mean needing to trim quite a bit out.

Friend request
I have a friend who also uses grindr but the only way to “friend” each other is using explore and trying to find his profile. As of right now I can’t find him. I wish I could send him a link or a friend request via text or whatever to be able to find me on grindr.

More thorough investigation of unsubstantiated complaint s
I think it's ludicrous that troll groups and stalkers and such can make several profiles and file false reports against people they're stalking to have them banned from an app that some of them have been banned from themselves for far worse reasons. There should be more thorough investigating into these claims I if 30 people report one person repeatedly and they never even have conversations with that person. Regarding Privacy
Please disable taking screenshot and screen recording feature. Yesterday a guy took screenshot of my face and took my number he then added my number on my pic posted it as his profile pic. When I asked to remove he demanded money. I reported this and also blocked him... am concerned about my privacy and action taken on him

Blank User Shield
The abundance of blank and photo-less profiles is concerning and incessant.
Allow users with photos the option to be invisible to blank users or to appear blank to those without profile photos. This would ensure a more equitable sense of privacy among pictured & blank users.13 votes -
Remove the time limit for seeing taps on free accounts
Considering the huge amount of ads on the free version it’s very surprising that the free features are gradually being removed. The time limit or 8 hours to see a tap is ridiculous and should be removed.

Stop lying to us users
You charge users fees to not see ads, u are paid by advertisers to shove their crap in our faces. You then sell off user data to other information farmers. The person that seems to be shafted no matter what is the user. All of the social media apps and sites do the same crap. I think Grindr should offer developers the chance to make and submit add-ons that guide the dating experience like a kink quiz or anonymous question
