3. In house ads need to be deletable.

   I’m tired of in house ads reappearing after I delete them. They’re the herpes of this app. I pay good money to NOT be advertised to, I shouldn’t be seeing them being snuck into in my inbox in the first place. But once I delete it, it should stay deleted, not reappear the next time I open the app.

4. This latest wave of AI generated spam accounts combined with your increasing greed is ruining this app

   The latest onslaught of fake Nigerian based scam accounts is the worst Ive seen in 8 years. Stop allowing accounts to be created behind a vpn. Legitimate users are prevented from using third party location spoofing apps to obscure their exact location but on the other hand you do nothing about the scammers use android emulators that you make no effort to stop. You frequently erroneously ban legitimate users device IPMIs and effectively force them to purchase a new device to use Grindr again. But at the same time you refuse to prevent emulated devices with fake IMEIs that you could easily detect..

   I think I know why you dont try to limit the scammers activities while actively taking away features and functionality from the legitimate users is because the scammers are never going to go legit and pay up.

6. Can we please have a way to turn on the ‘come on over’ notification without having to completely turn off the sound on the app?

   There is a new temporary DM notification that says ‘come on over’ versus the standard sound. If your sound is on it’s now the temporary default sound. Can we have a way to select whether or not it’s wanted or select a different sound without having to completely turn the sound off?

    Hello Grindr Team,

    I’d like to suggest an optional filter or profile field related to penis size.

    I understand this topic can be sensitive, but many users already express size preferences in their bios, often in ways that are exclusionary or uncomfortable. Having a discreet, optional way to indicate this would allow users to connect more honestly and avoid awkward or hurtful situations.

    Most users already filter by height, body type, position, and even ethnicity. Penis size is also a real compatibility factor for many — both those who prefer larger and those who prefer smaller. Allowing users to share or search by this info respectfully and voluntarily would actually promote inclusion and transparency.

    This feature could be visible only to users who opt in, similar to other filters. It would also help people with smaller penises find others who genuinely appreciate or prefer that — instead of feeling invisible or rejected.

    Thanks for considering this. I believe it would make the Grindr experience more inclusive and supportive for everyone.

    Messages that are clearly scams are coming from multiple different profiles, but the content in all of them is completely identical. Each profile has a different photo, but once a conversation starts, the pictures and phone numbers they send are the same, along with the following message:
    “It's 24 min to get to you.
    Can you Chime or Zelle me 20 for gas to get to you?
    I don’t want you to think I’m here to take your money without coming.
    What do you want me to wear? I’m horny right now.”

    This app is becoming a breeding ground for scammers and bots. It’s no longer clear what you’re actually getting in return for paying for a subscription to this platform!
