Reverse the latest update (May 2023)
The latest update done on the 18th of May is ridiculous. Stop making Grindr a social networking looking like Facebook with overloaded profile page. Graphic design of the profile is overloaded, too much unnecessary stuff: I do not need icons (I can read and do not need a symbol of ruler to know that it is physical parameters); categories (stats/expectations etc) are really not necessary - I simple list of items is enough; speach bubble around "about me" is just weird. It all looks very childish and is far away from the purposes of this app.

Do NOT update filter UI. Revert back to how it has been for years!
The profile filters have always been accessed by swiping from right to left. This brings up a list of filters such as online now, age, position, height, weight, etc. Now these same filters are being implemented in a different location (at the top of the app). The new UI is extremely cluttered and a pain to work with. If it ain't broke don't fix it! Instead of changing the UI, why don't you just FIX and ELIMINATE all the countless bugs this app has instead? That would be something that would be extremely beneficial. I feel like I'm preaching to…

Advertisements even with Xtra
I pay for the most premium version of Grindr, and yet the app still bombards me with pop up advertisements (for Grindr web, to "boost" my profile) that I'm forced to click out of. As a premium subscriber, I expect to be able to use the app without interruption.

O aplicativo está muito ruim de ser usado pois as propagandas intrusivas não dão uns minutos de paz as propagandas estão com problema ficam com tela preta não dá opção sair é necessário entrar e sair do aplicativo constantemente para poder continuar usando isso não deve acontecer as mensagens frequentemente não são enviadas por causa de erros no aplicativo o acesso à galeria é muito burocrático pois não dá a opção de marcar várias fotos ou vídeos

warning for ads
Ads pop up without warning which means you accidentally click on them, this is unsafe and can lead to being scammed or hacked. The App Store generally cannot find the apps too which I would imagine means they were removed from being linked to scams. Grindr should test the authenticity of all ads and should display a warning timer before the ad so people don’t click the link mistakingly. I actually wanted to complain but could not find the function.

Distance filter for everyone!
Nearest profiles I keep getting are over 100km away! Very rarely do I see someone from my area or at the very least the next city (25km) I’m also aware that the app doesn’t show me everyone, as i have a bunch of friends that live nearby that also use Grindr and they either can’t see me while I can see them, or the other way around despite having filters off for testing purposes. I also receive taps from profiles with tags I have filtered and are near, but I couldn’t see them prior to receiving the tap from them.…

Language
A language filter needs to be added along with a Country preference filter. I live in a border town in the USA and I can’t filter out people living across the border in Mexico. It is annoying bexause 75% of the people that show up are in Mexico or do not speak English. It is one of the main reasons I no longer pay for a premium Grindr account!! Why pay for a service that does not meet my needs??

How about a search engine that works.
Can't search by age most of the time and its annoying. Why have the option if you can't use it. Or find a format that works and stick to it instead of changing it every other month.

Reciprocal blocks
The current system of blocks is one way and open to abuse. When one user blocks another they are able to selectively unblock and then contact them, view them - and then block again. If someone blocks me, I want the option to block them back so they can't message me or see me.
Another issue with blocks is it's possible to reverse them by uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Why is it taking so long to refresh or is it a ploy to get people to buy the boost you keep advertising
Ever since the boost keeps showing up on my screen every time I log into my app it takes forever to refresh is this a ploy in order for people to buy and pay for the app

New explore feature
Revert the latest explore interface changes. It's less intuitive and easy to use without recent searches and the ability to toggle back and forth. You're just reducing the data you have to keep track of at the cost of making the user experience worse. Terrible update.

Add Doxy Prep to List to Prevent STI's
Doxy Prep is being prescribed by more physicians to stop/slowdown the spread of STI's. Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and Syphilis. It is being referred to as the "Day After Pill" which is taken within 72 hours when unprotected sex has occured.

Flakey guys
I think guys should be able to rate other guys when it comes to meeting. If they constantly flake or lie alot. It's a feature that would warn the community. To prevent others from wasting their time. A percentage so to speak. They could always raise this up by meeting guys on time and asking for a good rating?
