Syncing (not) between devices
The messages don’t sync on different devices, so it would be great to adapt this in the very near future, and make it possible to seemlessly use one account on different devices. Such as for couples with shared accounts i.e.

Fix explore function
Explore shows men “nearby” when they’re 30 miles away. Wtf. 2 friends and I sat in my house all online and tested it to find each other on explore. We put the pin right on my house and none of us showed up in each others grid. We turned off all filters and even had each other favorited. Didn’t work. Worthless pos.

age filter function, please go back to originally. dont use drag for choosing age to filter, it so difficult moving. use back the initial one, we select age in column

Seems like there is some bug, sometimes tap doesn't work.
At random moments, ( upto my knowledge, I couldn't find a pattern) the tap button doesn't work, I have come across almost 5 incidents until now.

Too many females and trannies on site!
This isn’t to bash anyone or discriminate against any gender or gender identity, but this used to be an app where gays could come to meet, hookup, chat, etc. But now with trans and CD’s making profiles on a site that wasn’t created for them, they’re taking away from the grid space that gays would otherwise have to interact. I also don’t believe that straight guys should be allowed to make profiles on grindr because I honestly believe that half of those profiles are fake and used to extract personal information from the gays that attempt to interact with them.…

water compensation
I live by a lake, and the mapping does not compensate for the lake being there, so when it says they are three miles away they are actually 12 because there is a lake you have to go around....

Swiping up on photos, the profile closes
Swiping up on photos, the profile closes on the last swipe and you “lose your place” back on the grid. Have to search to find the profile.

Social Media Filter
Include a filter to display profiles who have their social media connected. It would be better if we could filter by specific type, so if you're looking for Twitter and Insta, you don't see the profiles with only Spotify connected.

Fix clicking on chat
When you get a new message from somebody when there is an album already in the chat, Grindr freezes and does not pass through until you go to a different app and give back in. This is on ios

App is buggy since update
App regularly does not load profile pictures, let me receive or send messages without closing the app and reopening it 5 times every time it happens, sometimes it takes 5 minutes and 3 ads to send one message.

Compatibility for fold devices
When using grindr on a fold device it doesn't support swapping between open screen and close screen. And when used on an open screen the resolution is not right.

People should be forced to read the profiles
1) Nowadays, double clicking on the profile opens the chat directly, this way many users don't see the profile before opening the chat. You need to END with this possibility; double clicking on the profile should open ONLY the profile, not the chat!
2) When people open the profile, they usually don't go down to read the information. The profile text should appear IN FRONT OF the profile photo when one opens the profile, like what already happens when one goes down the profile to read the informations. Restore Bigger Character Limit to Profile Text
Somewhere around 2016 and update to the app came out that reduced the number of characters users could have in their profiles. I remember distinctly not updating my profile because it would mean needing to trim quite a bit out.
Yeah that’s probably has to do with the way the string information is encoded in your database. But if you think about it, get more characters for a tweet than you do for the profile text. App doesn't work
This app works about half of the time

Make message send and the app able to refresh on an android.
Have to restart the app to refresh and to be able to send messages a 2nd or 3rd time. Have an android and it is an inconvenience.to have to keep closing and restarting the app to talk to someone.

I still receive phone notifications while I’m in the app
While I’m inside the app, my phone pushes me notifications that I already know about because I’m in the app already. Just a little pet peeve.
