2. Save specific chats and pics

   We should be able to save specific chats and images to our Grindr profile that pins them even if the backup hasn’t been restored.

   Imagine that you meet a cute guy and the chat is super good full of deep and meaningfuls and on top of that his pics are sexy AF. You should be able to save that chat so even if the back ups don’t work that you can always be sure that chat is saved.

   My backups are acting up and I’m losing chats and some of the chats are with guys that I’m genuinely interested in and they don’t always have pics or recognisable profiles so when the chats disappear I always can’t find them again. Sometimes it’s more comfortable chatting only through Grindr and in that case we should be able to individually save chats. That way we can lose the dead weight and save the best ones. (Even if this just meant all favourites were fully saved no matter what)

3. When logged with Apple, add option to change email

   When logged in with Apple, add option to change email or link a different social (Facebook, Google, etc). It’s useful for people that are changing devices (from Apple to Google) and want to keep their account

4. Revert filters to how they used to be

   Used to be able to swipe from right to left to bring up the filters. Now it's horrendously accessed by tapping on the filters icon at the top. But when you swipe right to left now all the screen does is dim itself unnecessarily!!

   Not only that, but when you're in your favorites tab, swiping right to left pulls up the "online now" and "has a note" functions as it always has. So why go away from the right to left swipe for filters??? Makes no sense.

   Not only that, but now, frustratingly, when I want to filter height or weight, it doesn't save my preferences like it used to. Instead of being able to "uncheck" a filter and keep that filter saved for example filtering height from 4'9"-5'2", to disable this filter, you must "Reset" and "Apply". Wanna search for that height again? Gotta manually adjust the filter AGAIN every time. Fucking annoying!! What a joke.

   THE APP WAS MUCH BETTER BEFORE THIS ATROCITY OF AN "UPDATE" !!! Cut the shit and listen to the consumers. What's the point of this "feedback" if you're not going to listen? No one likes the new "update"... At all!!

5. Fix your app

   Stop partially updating the app, either do a full update that works or stick with the old system, currently none of the tags work properly and in the search field you will only be given 3 people to choose from, BUT if you select “trans” as an add on im suddenly able to speak to 12 people in that category. And now you put out ANOTHER partial update where the profile barely loads to fit your awful new profile set up, stop updating the free version if you’re going to make it worthless, or give us the option to choose which update we would rather use, since every new mobile update makes your app less and less worth the stress

6. Read receipts not showing?

   What does it mean when there is no 'read receipt' status showing? I understand the difference between 'sent', 'delivered' and 'read', but sometimes none of those show up at all, just the time when it was sent.

   I know that incognito mode allows you to hide read receipts from others, but there is no way that all the times this issue happens its because they are an Unlimited member

7. Last update and cant Log On !

   After doing the last update I now can't log into the Grindr App ! I go to login and it says refreshing now there was an error try again later, i have been waiting all night patiently and still can't, can you please get me back on the app , please..... Thank You

8. Report someone after they block you

   My bf was tricked into sending someone $50 for petrol money to travel to ours (no $50 wasn’t too much seeing he was going to drive nearly 3 hrs and yes people have travelled that distance before to play with us) but as soon as he sent him $50 he was instantly blocked. I’m sure my bf wasn’t the first or last person to fall for this scam. We should be given the option to report someone as soon as someone blocks us to prevent the block option to be used as a “way out” or a “f u I got the last laugh”

    I’m permanently banned, right now… and I haven’t even done anything wrong, first of all - I’m talking with respect on the app, and I’m over 18. So please, let us get a warning before, you permanently get us banned… I can’t come in there now, and I want that problem fixed!

14. Who ever was the designer that changed the age sewrch bar is a complete fucking moron.

    Change the dam age slider/ search back to how it was. Higher a co.petent UX designer, whoever the moron is that changes should be flat out fired. Dumbest design I've seen to date.

17. The update you did sucks when I'm scrolling and I click on a profile and I click back to look at more it scrolls me all the way back to the

    When you click on a profile to view it and you click back into the main list it's now scrolling you back all the way to the top without you touching saying whatever happened to make that happen needs to be undone it's very annoying

18. Grindr Free Restrictions Are out of control

    Ok. The last thing you did was putting a barrier to fresh page and tying it to the Grindr extra. Now free users can only speak to first 6 people close to them on fresh page. Cool. We got it. But you’re so really desperate to make me switch to extra. You totally lost your minds and now not allowing me to block people who last viewed me. Wow. What a pathetic way of forcing people to pay for your overly priced app. At this point I guarantee you you’re just gonna lose customers. I could even design a gay dating app myself that would be a huge success because I didn’t implement this greedy shady business practices that forces people to the bone to pay for your app. I only am on Grindr because for some reason I don’t understand people choose to be on Grindr instead of other apps. I don’t understand why you’re this much greedy when you are the number 1 gay dating app. I’m not switching to f****n extra or god forbid unlimited. Because your pricing is outrageous and I won’t support your stand point ‘people are gonna pay for it anyway’ restrict the free version to 6 people also on nearby section. And don’t even let me explore or give me 3 chances to message someone in a day. I’m still not paying for your overpriced app. Full stop.
