Please restore ethnicity filter
I am Asian, and I would like to have the ethnicity filter option back. As a "minority", I don't think the filter option is racist. It offers me choices. Sometimes I want to search for Asians for example,, and if there is this option, it will make my search much easier to find.

Finding the biggest pain point in the application is the first step to improving it. Thanks to https://www.nursingpaper.com/writers/, I understand that the solution is always in the palm of my hand. Sometimes, turning to professionals can be the best way out, especially when high-quality work is involved. Therefore, it is important to look for the best solutions and use the help you can get.
The number one suggested and supported idea is To Have A Way To Filter Out Bots, Solicitations, and Scams
Please Restore Ethnicity Filter is the second highest supported idea.
I am sure some members don't even know about this part of the App so please share with them so they can vote also on the hot topic. Let's make this the top supported idea so they can see how serious we are about. The need to respect other but still be attracted to those men who we are attracted to.
Its not exactly the point that Grindr is against it its the point that all business are owned buy 3 other Corporations that control the world. They want to control us all, we are considered cattle to them.
Everyone's request to have the ethnicity filter back is very valid I agree it should be brought back, all of use that want the filter back are not racist, we just are attracted to certain other men. But those that are trying to Control the world want to divide us so we fight among ourselves.
We all should now that being attracted to certain men does not make us feel ill will towards others of who we are not attracted to. This is one of the highest supported suggestion but those in control what us to keep feeling the way we do for the purpose that it is easier to control us. We all need to continue to stand up for our rights on here and around the world. They should not be allowed to take our civil rights away again as they are trying to we must fight against it, and everyones continued support on restoring the ethnicity filter is needed.
Contact me if you want to learn more about who is trying to control the word and what is actually going on in this world evil you can't even imagine.

Add it back why is Grindr so against it

As an already invisible and marginalized minority, Native American, it is almost impossible to find other Native men on this site.
Humans need to share experiences with people like them. The Europeans have shamefully shared their land. Now white people no longer have a land where they can be alone, among themselves. If I pay for an app, it's at least to improve that.

The filter is not about discrimination but an individuals preference as to what they like and search for in an individual or not. The comment you submitted is the reason they probably removed it initially. It's called discrimination. Keep it real people and your biased comments to yourself.
As much as I’d like an ethnicity filter again, what’s really important is filtering White/Caucasian out.

Yeah we don't care about micromanaging, child molesting, closeted trumptard, school shooting, canabal degenerates aka WHITE MALES.

You are only hurting the black community by removing this filter. Racists will be racists regardless of whether this filter exists. Black and brown people should be able to find each other!! This isn’t the woke move you think it is Grindr!
As a POC, sometimes I’d like to simply filter out Non-POC’s in my area as they are the majority here.

how does one go about tweeting at grindr?
sorry to be a dinosaur but, i try to minimize my dealings with that platform
Hello Dylan, if you read my post you'd see that the gender issue was only one part, and i wrote to type down whatever the issues were you are facing on grindr twitter. The posts here go all the way up to 5 years without being seen or answered.
And as i said im sure she is a nice person and im not attacking her. But for someone to advocate for gay rights/needs on a gay dating app, that person needs to be a gay guy.
Grindr wont respond to us here, so lets bring all our issues to their twitter. Thats all what i wanted to say. Cheers 🙏🏼💋

W F - you have no idea what she's doing behind the scenes - if you check out her LinkedIn you'll see that moderating these posts is only one of her responsibilities. Regardless - they're a tech company and you're probably not a majority shareholder.. you're not going to instigate policy change by attacking the identity of their choice of personnel to complete certain tasks - particularly if their underlying goals include inclusion.
Regardless, you're conflating issues here - this is a thread any the race filter, nothing to do with gender.
I want ethnicity filter restored and I am black.
Hello Dylan and hope you are well. I’m sure she’s an amazing person, but if you check her last review of a post was in 2021, which is two years ago.
As she is an administrator, and the only one who commented on the posts from Grindr. She should be more active, her last post was two years ago. And if you go to the section planned, you’ll find the ideas are pending since 2018, which is five years ago.
So regardless if she’s an amazing person or not, and as you said, astoundingly qualified woman, but for me when i see how neglected the posts are for 3 and 5, that really screams either unprofessionalism or they simply just dont care. If she is busy or unable to do her duties for any reason, then grindr should appoint someone else to do so.!
Plus either qualified or not, she would still not feel our struggles with this app. We need a gay guy shares the same values like us, and wants to make grindr for gay men again.
Now if they dont want want to lose their client base of trans, fem,CD, she-males, heterosexual women and men, and their admirers. They can create another app from all the money of subscriptions we paid for and migrate them all there.
And i’m sure every single person here agrees with me, cheers.

Please read the following paper. The well-intentioned removal of this feature has NOT had the effect we hoped it would, I think we can all agree there. In fact, there are compelling arguments to support the idea that its removal has had negative impacts on users of color.

As an aside - to all those trying to say a cis woman shouldn't work as a moderator here... Check out her LinkedIn.. she's an astoundingly qualified human.. also not a moderator.. get your facts straight and try to avoid the ad-hominem attacks if you actually want to get a point across 👍
Grindr keeps deleting my comment.
Actually I realized there is no point at of us posting and commenting here. The admin/moderator is a cis woman who doesn’t really care about us gays or the app. I suggest we all go on grindr twitter to voice our concerns.
Plus we need to complain about having cis woman who is heterosexual. But even if she is homosexual, she cannot be a moderator in an app thats for gay guys. Thats why all these str8 girls and guys, trans, CD and she-males started Appearing.
Check her profile plz in the closed ideas you’ll see her.
You'll be shocked to see many posts which has many votes but left neglected for over 3 years now, even though it has many votes and supports. This just shows that she doesn’t care and Grindr or doesn’t care.
Plus for trans, she-males, CD they have tons of apps for them and their admirers.
So plz lets all of us go to twitter and voice our concerns. And tell them we are leaving the app if this doesn't change. We demand to make Grindr for gay guys again and strictly no girls or straight men.
No female staff as moderators or admins or decision makers. And whatever you guys need to voice. Im honestly fed up with this app and if they dont change we will be leaving and there are many other apps willing to have us. Cheers.

I think we all are attracted certain people and having the filter back is a good idea. This makes it easier and faster to connect with the people we are interested in vers having to scroll through people of no interest. I don't think having this feature is discriminatory for which it was probably removed but a fact of who we are attracted to.

Imagine if they tried to get rid of transphobia, fatphobia, anorexiaphobia, averagephobia, ageism, achondroplasiaphobia, gigantasophobia, anthropophobia, Pantophobia, etc, etc... All filters will be removed eventually.
Having a race filter doesn't promote racism. PERIODT.
If by chance a person is racist, it exists in the fiber of that person's being, and will involve a lot of self help to be a better person.
There are far more people that like other's outside of their own "race", than people that wear a pointy white hood behind the screen burning effigies on their lawns. Stop being woke and wake up Grindr...
