Looks like they dropped that feature. I don't and all my friends don't see who looked at their profile

Bad idea. *** I have severally cut back my use of Grindr.*** If I wanted someone to know I was interested in, I would tap them.

Awful move! No we can’t look at profiles without being pestered. If I was interested they would know because I’d tap or message!

I have Extra with unlimited blocks. If I'm NOT interested in a profile, I'll block it.

Letting people know you looked at their profile goes against what Grindr does best at - anonymity.
This make Grindr just as reprehensible as Scruff and Jack'd.
Very bad idea. It will push users away from using the app as it was intended.
I usually click on two dozen profiles at one sitting. Today I haven't click on one. -

This is a terrible idea if an opt-out isn't offered.
Opt-in = allow your trial.
Opt-out = hide your trail.I discovered this feature yesterday, and have been very reluctant to look at profiles now.
This defeats the privacy that Grindr is best known for. Years ago before I started Grindr, I asked if ppl could see I checked them out - and this privacy is the reason I don't use Scruff.
Just because other apps let you see who looked at your profile is not an excuse to do it.
When I first saw they new UI (which seems to come and go) and clicked on who viewed my profile, there was a blurb about incognito mode, but I couldn't find it.

Very bad idea of leaving a trail of who you looked at.
Defeats Grindr's best feature of anonymity and separates Grindr from Scruff and other apps.
Make this an OPT-IN FEATURE.

This should be the least of their priorities, photo verification should be first. This is what's wrong with this generation, those who are self absorbed would want this. Who cares who looks at your profile? Move on with your life, send a message instead of sitting back.

If you add this feature make an option so that EXTRA members can turn it off when they surf other people, so that they don't know you visited their profile

i find that sometimes i look at someone's profile i haven't reviewed in a while, and weirdly they text me moments later with a Hey. And i think, gee was that another crazy coincidence or can they tell i just looked at their profile? I like the idea of knowing who is reviewing my profile but i see the point some make about it not being a good idea.

If this is going to be a thing then please make it an optional feature. You sould have the options to see and be seen. Sometimes I just swipe through profiles, doesn't mean i'm interested. There's a reason taps are there.
